Hey Larry! A few days ago I visited my mother in the ambulant rehabilation (dont know if its right). There were a few people with mental issues. One of these started talking with me while he was sitting next to the computer of the office lol. I asked him what he was watching. He said " Oh look these guy's are doing paintwork on a Porsche." It was your Channel btw! I dont remember which clip it was but i just wanted to tell you that even here in Switzerland people are watching you! And this guy was so happy talking about it since he knew quiet much about it! So keep on doing what you do! Thanks Lary

I am happy to see that someone else is crazy enough to wash their cars in the winter. I will still use a hose and 2 bucket method if the temps are at least 30 degrees. One tip that I give to all fellow detailers is to use ice fishing gloves from Glacier Glove. They keep your hands warm and dry yet they allow you to feel towels and tools.

This is so great. I can’t stand how little the outdoor DIY wash bays take off with the pressure washer and have been looking for a solution. Why I didn’t think of this before is beyond me, but this is perfect. I no longer have to freeze my hands or risk I’ve in the driveway anymore!! Thank you Larry for putting this together!! As Larry said that Berry meguiar was his inspiration to him in the detailing world, Larry is doing the same for myself and others. I got my first car a few months ago and as a 17 year old I’m still new to detailing but I started off with commercial products like chemical guys (big mistake sorry..) and I thank god a stumbled upon your channel and learned so much about detailing and how many crucial steps there were to maintaining the look of a vehicle. Your products are pretty amazing and it gave me a whole new insight into detailing. I’ve learned you put out products that are the best quality and get the job done unlike some brands who put out a product that does the same thing just with different labels. I want to protect my car and my ocd is crazy and I still have so much to learn about maintaining my car as well as paint correction but I know I can learn from you. Because of you I found a passion for detailing and helping others understand what it really means to care for a car. Without you I’d be taking my brand new first car to a car wash and ruining my paint job. Thank you for what you are doing.

Right on haha I wash my F-150 about twice a month in the winter but I always. Use a hose at home hooked up to my shop sink in the garage and do a 50/50 warm and cold water. But I never would have imagined being able to do so without the process of hooking a hose up and running it out front in the cold. I’ll have to try your foam technique sometime. Thanks for continuing to share this great stuff dude! I have to say ever since finding your channel last year I have enjoyed washing my car and truck 10 times more then in past years. 👍👍👍 keep on posting and we will keep on watching.

Some great ideas.. I’m from upstate NY and during the winters it’s tough on the vehicle so I like to sneak into one of those lazer wash booths that allow you to wash your own- typically isn’t busy and the bay seems to be heated.. and usually wash/and quick wax. It doesn’t happen often enough but this video spurred me to share this info- great video and ideas. Keep it up 👍🏻

Thanks Larry. We lucked out today and the temperature got above 50, was able to brake out the foam gun and 2 buckets. Added some Boost Winter Wash into both gun and bucket. Sure made the soap extra slippery. Followed up with the Hydrate Paint Moisturizer. I don't have a air blower, so I usually drive over to the convince store for something to hydrate my body and blow the water off. I always take a towel with me to get what has come off. After buying my beverage I was hitting some of the water spots and 3 different people asked if I did other people's cars 😁. I don't, but was happy to let them know what I used. Your products are not inexpensive but they work! Cheers from VA.

Great video larry I really loved it! You are the man. You are right it is hilarious the way people look at me at the pay and spray. I bring three buckets with me of warm water and do a two bucket wash on my black Nissan which has extremely extremely soft paint. The softest I have ever encountered. One of my favorite things at the pay and spray is to watch people use that brush on their car

This is great information thank you. I kind of had a chuckle about the temp plummeting to 14. Where I live 14 is Spring jacket weather. I thought you were going to say -14. Lol. That aside, I really needed this. My car is driving me crazy because I literally cleaned it 2 days ago and it's full of salt again. These tips for effective cleaning really make a difference.

South-west winter washing instructions; wait till its around 70(around noon) outside and wash your car as usual. Note: Shoes are recommended instead of sandals this time of year, as water could be somewhat chilly.

I’m about to go buy an aerator. Method 3 sounds sooo good. Even for a quick wash in the summer.

Long time follower Larry! Great video! I live in Maine, so I too have this issue for a major part of the year. Usually did my form of Technique 3. Will be investing in the Frothe soon though to help the process! Thanks for the creative and helpful video!

Winter car care is super tough especially for us guys that live in the rust belt, salt literally sticks to every surface on the car, great tips especially with the latex gloves

I tried to use Ammo Frothe for a maintenance wash in temperatures about 14°f (I live in NH). These tips will help the foam from NOT freezing!
