How To Verify Your Identity In Upwork (2024) // Upwork Verification
If you're new to Upwork and want to start freelancing, the first thing you need to do is create an account. Once you've done that, the next step is to verify your account.
There are a few different ways to verify your Upwork account. The most common and recommended method is to link your account to a verified email address.
To do this, simply go to the 'Settings' tab and click on the 'Verify Email Address' option. From there, you'll be prompted to enter your email address and Upwork will send you a verification link. Once you've clicked on that link, your account will be verified and you can start applying for jobs!
Other verification options include linking your account to a verified phone number or connecting your account to a social media account. These methods are less common, but can still be used to

If I want to see the option identity verified, I should have on my profile 100% completed in order to get the e-mail by Upwork with the link for doing that?
The problem is: I haven´t much experiences. so I just have my profile 40% completed. Is this bad? I always clicked on the identify verification pop up but it always ends on a empty page telling me this page isnt existing

Hello, thank you for this video. I clicked on the option, Find work, then Profile, then Profile setting, but the option verify identity does not appear. However, I am watching your video. Related to the first image once you clicked on the option Turn on availability badge, what does mean the number 6 below the Current Price, and My maximum. I don't understand very well what is My maximum, does it refer to the number of hours that you will work on the week? I asked about it, because in my case it is showed automatically the number 7 and I don't know why?

Can anyone help me please? I received a message about taxes , saying that I should fill something! Did it happen to any of you ? Is it normal to receive such messages because I didn't understand why I am receiving this! Also , do all freelancers on Upwork are required to confirm their identity?

the taxes information, if you didnt fill it Upwork will take extra 30% on with the 20% as a total of 50% , but if you fill it no extra charges
