Interesting that the Madonna picture frame back was not mitered yet the front of the frame painted black appeared mitered. Dr. Lori, your teaching is always so educational. Thank you.

Great eye. I wouldn’t have thought that the painting at the end was part of a bigger painting but it make sense. I always enjoy the journey you take us on to get to these destinations and conclusions on these objects.

What is the best way to sell a quality painting, such as the virgin mary you showed, by an unknown artist? Most auctions I see seem very strict about only accepting work from listed artists.
