motorula and thx for the inspiration
I really love how viewers welcomed with the cool video transition for the opening of this video. But i think it is not just the zoom transitions, but also with the right drop track that give you the rush as the viewers. Awesome job!
Excellent Video! Knowing the technical aspect of how to do these transitions is really only half of the equation, so these tips are really helpful to actually use these transitions in an effective and meaningul way
I love transitions between totally different scenes - its paranormal and I love impossible things. Amazing.
Thanks a lot Thomas. Everyone on youtube is currently teaching the technicalities and missing out the essence of why this zoom was invented. Thanks again for the awesome video and explaining the importance of it!
Tutorial next level 👍 Not just explaining the technical steps but also the way how it works with the footage and what kind of footage works for it. Fantastic to watch and learn... 👏

dope, thank you mate
Yes, subtle indeed. But super crucial to deliver them as well as you do. Brilliant stuff man!
wow. you´re just making everything right man ! that´s the way how People should be teached to do Things they want. Not a technical receipt, but an idea an Feeling on how to do it, without telling excatly what to do. I really like this, because now you have to figure out how to get it right for you yourself and thats great ! On top of that the last part in the Programm is also not to detailed...but you also give the opportunity too, by linking to the Tutorial. So big congrats for finding a niche style of KZread Teaching ! greetings from Germany and keep the cool work... Be inspired by your travel :)
i"m from indonesia, Nice to see you in bali doing something and give us some tutorial, great man, keep filming and share briliant tutorial.
Haha right on man. Ask and you shall receive. I posted on your California dreams video asking for this specific tutorial. Cheers and thanks for the effort. Subbed. I've no-where near the ability of editing as yourself but I'm learning a lot and I credit your vids with some excellent inspiration. I'm always telling people how they need to look deeper on KZread to find some amazing hidden gems.

Thomas Alex Norman I particularly enjoyed the humour of the substanceless transitions. Vid could go viral on that alone. Also thanks for the recommendation on Brandon li.. The guy is insanely good.
Super advice mate. Really liking your channel and applying one new thing in each new video. Cheers.
This was extremely helpful, cheers Thomas. Glad to have found some videos that I can really learn some useful bits from.
Hey! Started watching your vids today and you're going a really interesting way with it. Already marked the others to check them out :) I've been traveling around for a couple of years and were really into photography but not really filmmaking, but i'm trying to make the transition now and this helps a lot. Keep up! :D
followed you from the beginning, you started going big bro! u doing a great job
Such an inspiration! Thank you for this video. Can't wait to see more of your adventures.

Some good info floating around on your channel dude! Keep it up!
this is great, it'll really go a long way in my videos! thank you so much
im going to bali this tuesday and im super excited to practice using transition
Hello mate, Thanks for this really useful Video. Hope you enjoy in Bali.
thanks, this helps alot. i think it might be easier to do it straight from premier though as it has all the same features needed to make the transitions work.
Awesome video! I've just started playing around with these, and they've been looking super awkward so far, so thanks for the advice!
Thank you for your amazing video, these tips are literally gold!
Great to see that you're in Bali!
that intro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well done Thor....well done. amazing video once again
Awesome Wanderlust shirt, mate! Best channel for checking on music restriction in KZread
This video really saved my life !!! Thank you so much 💙💙💙
The advice to use transitions between shots that are connected (forest / trees) was super helpful. I was putting transitions between unrelated shots and wondering why it felt like “too much”. Needed that advice! Thank you for these videos. PS as a beginner I’m doing everything manually on my phone using ishot app. So need to hack some of the transitions to get the same effect as a real editor.
Thanks for this tutorial mate! After your explanation, everything is clear in my head :)
Love your videos Thomas ! great advices, thanks. From France
Dude sweet tips and tricks man! Ill have to remember these when i'm out filming shots ;) Thanks as usual.
I started to follow Brandon Li! Thanks, he is awesome
I almost fell from my bed with that first transition ...woooowa :) Love you Bro
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience that's great!!! Keep that attitude and that humbleness!!
Great video! Such good pointers for how to think when filming and editing =)
Hope you do a video on your sony lenses! New subscriber here. Your style is somewhat a mix of Brandon Li's cinematics and sounds with Sam Kolder's editing. It's so refreshing to see that style set in an urban place (saw your London vlog) and not just the usual tropical tourist places.
I was looking for this !!! Thank you ! I kind of need to see both videos...
Yoo, I did that "permanent vacation" graffiti behind you
I learned something very essential one from you❤️👍you Doing great job❤️
awesome and helpful video man. Long-time fan!
Exactly what I'm looking for right now. Thank you!
Brandon Li should get an Oscar for his work, love him 🙏🏼👍🏼😜. also helpful Video Thomas Alex Norman thx.
You're honestly one of the only KZreadrs that I look forward to watching their next videos, keep it up dude!

And also I've been dying to know how you do your transitions, so thanks for that!!
If I understand the transition thing correctly than I need to make the transitions in after effects rather than filming a transition as I'm travelling? I've discovered your channel just today and I've been obsessed with your videos!! It's become a dream of mine to make my travel videos just as good as yours!! I love your work!!!
I also am a HUGE fan of Brandon Li's. MAN his content and knowledge is awesome. This was indeed a great video Thomas! Thanks!

Hi Thomas, I am new to making a video, as you can see on my playlist all of those are not quite impressive but because I have seen your channel I am inspired again to make another video, hopefully, I can apply all of your tips, hacks and advises. Let see what would be the result. and thank you again sir.--- love, from Dubai
You need to be the creator of a degree in KZread I would happily take your classes any day, already learned so much from watching 4 videos and I'm not stopping anytime soon.

i love it.. its inspire me :) thank you
you should have also explained how to transition to a different scene but I love Brandon Li transitioning I think he has some of the best.
Where i can find this transition sound effect ?
Extremely helpful
some people just put it between every transition. it just makes it seem like a "normal transition" if u get what i mean. good vid. subbed
awesome breakdown man. subscribing now :)
Thank you so much !!!! 😘😘😘😘
Hey Thomas, while I love your thinking with the angle of the wave and where/how it crushes, I believe you should have taken the sun as „anchor“. just moving the zoomed-in crop a bit to the left would have made it smoother IMO, now it‘s a bit jumpy. Your principle still holds true though. Thanks for your efforts in creating such videos. You have a good way to teach
great tut! thanks mate
Awesome! THank you.
Thanks for the tips!!!
the bird transition was par perfection
awesome video! subscribed!
