With Xeno3, you have to turn off the twist on/off motion controls for this to work. If those are enabled, they override music play and other cool twist functions. To get these twist functions back, go into the config file and disable twist on, and twist off advance, motion options. Also, a lot of Xeno saber don’t come with music tracks, so nothing will happen. You may need to add tracks to your fonts on the SD card, as well as the config file change.

Ive done all that and i know my saver has voice lines because ill hear the count talk randomly while im playing with my lightsaber on but i cant seem to figure out exactly what to do to trigger them. Ive tried everything.

Great video. I love the Xenopixel board. I find it is flexible enough to meet my needs when costuming without being so complicated that I need a cheat sheet to operate it. The twist to change sound font also cycles in the opposite direction to changing the sound font with the button so you can go backwards and forwards through the sound fonts which is very handy when trying to find a particular sound font if you have a lot of fonts onboard. Now that the major players in the sound font business are offering Xenopixel ready fonts adding more fonts has never been easier.

I just got a Xeno3, and it’s pretty awesome so far. The speaker on mine sucks, but my Proffie is too complicated for me. I’ve tried multiple times to mess with the config files with no luck. I just do the copy and paste method.

How do you disable the flash on clash, the sensitivity for it is way too high and since I swing this around alone it clashes constantly making it very obnoxious. I know there is a setting for it in the instruction manual but if I hold it down long enough it only changes the sound font

I bought a Mando 2.0 SN4.0 lightsaber from CCSabers, it has almost all the functionalities you showed in the video, but everytime i try to use tip drag, it won’t work. It only has one button

i have a v3 dooku curve hilt but whenever i twist to turn on or off it never works. it only works when i remove the chassis and i turn the chassis to turn it on and off. whenever i change the sensitivity on the app it doesn’t do anything, anyone help?

For some reason when I hold the button for 4 seconds to turn off the blade it also changes the blade sound/type. Am I doing something wrong or is it the blade? Also, is there a way I can reset the blade so I can have all the colors and sounds back to their original style/color/sound? For example, a Luke style sound, purple font, stack ignition. Anyway this can be reset to default?

you don't have to hold the button for 4 seconds to turn it off, it does change the soundfonts/styles because if you hold the button for 4 blinks it changes the soundfont

Just received my first xeno! Awesome video. One thing, when my blade is off, I tilt up and twist for the music but it only reignites the blade. I’ve tried different angles and such and still haven’t been able to initiate any music through the hand gesture :( … got advice?

I've seen videos showing Xenopixel V2. Is that a completely different board from Xenopixel? Or is it supposed to be an update for all Xenopixel boards? I wanted to ask because I didn't know if Saberforge Eco Xenopixel sabers had the V2 (if it's a separate board). Or if they could be upgradable (if it's just meant to be a simple update).

So the current run of xenopixel boards are all V2, v1 is super old and not in many sabers, in fact I've never even seen a v1 board! Having said that V3 is about to come out and that's a whole new board with new features! And apparently has a an app for it too

I just got my saber, a quick press turns on, holding just changes the sound font…

I just need to know how to turn the first saber in the video off. The Light is on the button and stays on for ages before shutting down. Can anyone tell me how. Thanks. 🤜🤛

@@kobeosborne8947 yeah I started in June! It has 32 soundfonts on there and Maul and Starkiller are both on there, also the Xenopixel version you can add your own quite easily so if there were others you wanted you can get them!

Does anyone know why when I twist upright it just turns the blade on rather than the music? It does that no matter the angle. I managed to turn the music on once while assembling mine but never again after

The new Xeno V3 doesn't have music on them anymore due to copyright, also with the other motion controls it overrides what would've been music (there are a few holdovers from before, which is why you may have heard it once)

I know how to activate tip drag, but I've seen multiple videos using "wall melt". Was wondering if they're the same thing or not (and if not, how to activate it)

The gesture controls are really awkward with a dooku saber. The core is in the curved part of the blade. Still, no regrets since it's my favorite lightsaber xD

My only question is, how to activate the “force” effect on the lightsaber. Do you just tap and it effects for force sound?

On my blade I found that I can do it with the same twist motion to turn off but I press the button just after the reverse from clockwise to counter-clockwise

Make sure the blade is in properly, also check you're not on blaster blade or ghost blade

for some reason my xenopixel doesnt change the sound font like when it says "im cal kestis" it says something like "serenity" or "double agent"

i have one question i got my saber yesterday i saw on the sd card there are diffrent sound fonts when they speak how do i go through them if i twist while blade is down then it just goes back to the old one but i wanna go through anakins voice lines on the one font how do i do that?

Unfortunately you can't just listen to the voice lines on the same font over and over, that's basically the font sound so you know what font it is, if you have like 3 fonts on a certain sound it will be random as to what the saber plays when you switch to that sound font

You can totally dual with xenopixels, I've used them tons and the only thing I've noticed is that after being used for like 6 months plus in duelling the blade has started to bend, but then as you can get the blade on its on it's not a huge problem!

Hi, I love your video, but I have a question, and a problem with my xenopixel saber, I got this Saber Source its a Padawan Saber, So I just changed everything to my preferences, like the colors, and how it starts up, but after charging it, it resets to default, and everything, to the colors, to the effects, and it takes a long time for me to fix all of these, how can I come back to those preffered settings, and prevent it from coming back to default.

Ah yeah I've had that issue in the past, you need to make sure there are no config files in the soundfont folders themselves otherwise it will default to those, also when you open your config file is it saved correctly how you want it or is that going back to default?

Just received a starkiller lightsaber as a birthday present for my boyfriend. Im afraid i have no clue about the lightsabers. I could switch it on and off, also by motion control. But it doesnt play any music wether i i do the movement with the blade up or down. Any advice? I think the soundtracks and character voices are the best thing on lightsabers. Without them it would be a shame to gift 😔

Only if you want to add soundfonts to your saber, otherwise it should be ready to use as soon as its charged

every span of time that you wait for the effect to go off i feel like you stare into the void going "rehab was supposed to be a fresh start" not that you look like a horse or anything

i have a non exposed button lightsaber from neosabers the luke skywalker one. and i cant seem to figure out how to play music or get the voice lines? if anyone know help me out. do i have do download them to have any of them. doesn't the factory version come with music and voice lines

Ok so, you will have all the ignition styles it's just getting to them, the difficult part with a saber with a switch clamp is the timing, 1 sec is volume, 2 secs is blade style, 3 secs is ignition style, 4 secs is sound font, it's just about learning those timings!
