How to Use your LEGS in the Golf Swing to Maximise Distance and Accuracy

Ойын-сауық

Getting the legs going in the golf swing! Thanks for making the trip Chris, we related his skillset from the other sports he has participated in (the main one referred to in the lesson being 10 pin bowling). As the transfer of skill is not only applicable but the recognition of movement patterns is too.

I've had a loads of lessons with different Pros and hated every lesson. I was just confused, frustrated and felt deflated. It's put me off ever wanting a lesson again. Now these vids are potentially changing my mind. ZEN could be the way forward.

Ioved this. The feeling that the golf swing mimics a right hand under arm throw is so simple. Add in the forces from the ground and it's a simple swing thought. Wish I lived nearer to get a lesson.

Marcus is brilliant. I watched Pete Cowen talk about the "spiral staircase", in terms of loading the right side, then the left, using ground forces. I thought at the time, this is kind of like Tai Chi. Watching this video and a few others on Zen Golf Mechanic, it confirms it. Golf is using forces, loading, and unloading. #Respect

I have previously commented on another video on how much I love it and how important I thought it was to people new to Zen golf. However, this one runs a very very close second. My only hope is that I can convince my wife to buy the GRF infinity board training system for Christmas at nearly £300 whish me luck lol. No disrespect about the price of course if it can change my game then its a small price to pay 😊

I envy these lads who have an actual swing that looks like the practice swing...I just can't do it, something changes for me as soon as the ball is there. The annoying thing is, I can feel it instantly, It's so frustrating!

Usually what happens is that you are not aware of your clubface in your practice swing (it's usually very open). When you put the ball in the way, you will become aware of the flaw in your practice swing, which is the open face. In rare cases the clubface is closed. Just video your "good" practice swing and check where the face is takeaway, top and delivery.

Brother, you really need to improve the audio on your videos. I love watching them but I find it almost unbearable to watch them with the sound as is. You, at the very least, need to wear a microphone and possibly your guests as well. Otherwise, I'd watch every video you put out.

Yeah we are aware, thanks for the feedback. There's ongoing construction on site and we're moving away soon, still on site but tona quieter area. We can't wear mic's as it's a lesson video first and foremost for the pupil. Only with kind permission do we use them on YT. Using mic's creates a studio atmosphere and that's not organic for a leason. We've also bought new, more superior mic's 👍
