✅ Fruit and vegetable scraps
✅ Branches and green waste
✅ Meat, fish and bones
✅ Grass clippings
And these items CAN'T go in your green bin:
❌ Plastic and biodegradable bags
❌ Food packaging or cling wrap
❌ Tissues, serviettes and napkins

    Why didn’t you make it the same bin colour? The green Bodie is black but the red and new yellows are dark green.

    Black bodies can be recycled better. They contain like 80% recycled content whereas dark green bins are 30% recycled content, so council decided to have black bodies to be more eco friendly
