The Corsair Void Pro, the USB dongle that you plug into pc actually works on the ps5, and even recognizes the specific headphones and works immediately.

you need a stupid dongle, which is complete bullshit. You should definitely be able to do Bluetooth with these consuls. Not sure why they are set up this way.

Sorry, The headset box. Make sure you don't loose it as well, they are a pain to replace.

My issue is that they don't support common audio interfaces like focusrites. I have really good headphones and a killer condenser mic but it was a mission to get em to work properly with the PS5 since my mic is XLR

Pretty sure that dongle setup is similar to that of a PlayStation two when you could hook up wireless controllers by plugging in a card of sorts

His headset may produce sound but the mic wont work

Dam I bought a ps5 for 720 but I forgot the control don't have paddles on the back. I can't play cod, fortnite or apex with it that sucks. I really wanted to play cod with the ps5 controller.

Isn't it kinda weird how we're so advanced in consoles but they don't have a Bluetooth chip in em? I mean why should you need anything external when you should just connect to the console itself

My wireless headphones work, Logitech g533 it comes with a usb stick so you plug it in and it works I used to use it for my pc but now I use it for both

If i switch the headphones off, would the sound automatically switch to the TV output? I have tried this, however it hasnt worked, the only way i can get sound back on the TV is if i pull out the dongle . I previously owned the Sony PS4 headphones and they would switch from Headset to TV via the headset on/off button.

You can change to the tv without pulling the dongle out via the main menu on the console. Go to sound and it will show your options. Don't even need to go into settings

How to use the mic of the headset instead of the controller? I don't want a separate aux mic..

With 3.5mm cable connected to dual sense, does it work with 3D audio and 7.1? And surrounding????

virtual surround sound that's built into the headphones usually only works with usb. The 3D audio from the console works regardless of what input you use.

I have a ps4 so I connected a aux cable and it works even though I can’t hear anything on the headphone it’s good as a microphone as I play Fortnite thanks man

Turtle Beach 700 audio on the PS5 while playing CoD isn’t really great as the PS4 because it had a wire connection to the PS4 and to my headset… sad

I neef to connect my corsair hs80 wireless headset to my monitor so OBS studio can also detect it but there's no usb outlet. Is there anything i can do?? 😢

You can enjoy 3D audio with any pair of headphones or earbuds. All you need to do is connect your headphones to the console or your earbuds to the DualSense controller.

I like how there’s a mic build right into the controller, so no more of these kids playing PUBG or Battlefield pretending they ain’t got a damn mic in 2020...

The big question is would you rather be a mini fridge or a r2 d2 WiFi router

Get a TV bluetooth transmitter. That way anything hooked up to your TV has bluetooth headset capability without messing with anything.

You could also do this on the ps4 but even with a stereo wireless headset it was forced to go into mono not stereo and if you wanted stereo you had to buy Sony’s own headset. I hope it’s fixed on the ps5 though.

The funny thing is that apparently the Bluetooth hardware doesn't have an issue with headphones, the issue arrises at a software level (meaning that Sony intentionally disabled it)

Marky 360 it isnt Sonys fault, the headset dongle is required for the headset to use a 2.4gh signal.

@@Simlife101 The Headset is Bluetooth not 2.4Ghz for some reason tho Sony doesn't allow for headset manufacturers to connect directly to PlayStation consoles with Bluetooth headsets and makes them use a dongle instead. Only the PS3 allowed the direct use of Bluetooth headsets sans dongle. I have no idea why Sony does this tho.
