As usual a very precise explanation, thank you. (Bare frygteligt irriterende at de koster en bondegård, det er ikke for en folkepensionist)

Do you think I need monitor calibration if I am photographing my artwork for printing?

I would always work on a calibrated monitor when printing. Otherwise you don’t know where colors might shift. And proper profiles for the paper/ printer, og print station. It’s to expensive to trial and error the right colors 😃

hi got a studio light box from amazon to photograph pearl jewellery the led light in the box is set to 5500k i used all setting M, P, A, S, modes auto exposure. the result of my photos don't look correct to gray in some cases is it that the camera is to old? Nikon D5100.

Hi, did you set your Camera to manual white balance 5500k, or did you use some kind of grey card? Use only manual settings when shooting with artificial light. Then your images will look the same if you don’t move around the lamps. It’s not because your camera isn’t brand new :-) Best wishes Bjørn
