Hi! Do you mean when I use the gouache? If so, I gently squeeze on the handle like a little pipette to get 1-2 drops of water in the cap and mix it with the paint. hope this helps

I can't say, I've only ever used the professional series of faber castell's since I needed a lightfast medium

Use the tip of an old toothbrush if you want smaller stars.

I'm pretty sure it's a special type of brush that holds water inside of it that comes out when you squeeze. I just used a large regular watercolor brush for this project, and it worked very well!

Can I use the white watercolor pencil for the Stars?

watercolors and watercolor pencils are usually transparent so it'll faint away once dry, unless stated otherwise on to box by the manufacturer ( some do make opaque colors ). That's why I just use gouache

i brought watercolor instead of classic by mistake ... do i have to change or i can use the colors without water normally please answer . thanks

1- yes? 2- not sure what do you mean? Its a constant water flow from the reservoir towards the bristles, I just clean it from the darker colors as to not contaminate the rest and repeat

Hi, i just use the sharpener that came with my other wc pencils mondeluz set. If you're looking for a specific one for this set, there's a list of "compatible" ones on the manufacturer's website support.fabercastell.com/support/solutions/articles/25000009039-recommended-sharpeners

Is it the same brush? If so try to see if there is pigment stuck on the bristles and wash it with some soap, and if that doesn't help try squeezing a couple of drops on a tissue and then go over your painting. I hope this helps ❤

You can also take an x-acto knife and shave off tiny bits of the pencil "lead" to be stars.

What is the name of the colored pencil you are using?

A normal brush would work but you need watercolor pencils, not colour pencils for this, hope this helps
