"That's not a set" is the dumbest phrase ever, and it embodies the mindset that plagues many competitive communities, not just Pokemon. If all you want to do is copy paste meta teams and follow a flow chart, why are you even playing? How do you genuinely believe that a person is bad at the game because they used their creativity and ingenuity to beat your robotic mindless button-clicking? I'll never understand. Cool sets, dude.

That's not a set. > The very history of Smogon and VGC to an extent shows that, even in an extremely set meta, most of the big matches are won by unusual attacks or tactics that the opponent didn't expect (the last case I can think of, is whirlpool dracovish). The ultimate point of any battle is to win, and you choose how to achieve said goal. The fact that he didn't even care about what was going or tried to comprehend the meaning of his opponent sets to counterattack, but decided to adopt a totally passive actitud by saying "this can't be happening, this is not possible, this is not a real set", demonstrates not only how unskilled and new to the game he was, but also the hilarious limitations of his small brain.

Exactly. I don't even understand their reasoning when they come up with stuff like this. 'Not a set'? Says who? Smogon? They are an unofficial fan community that have no actual authority whatsoever. VGC? They don't confine players to specific movesets. There's no helping these types of players, all that can be done is mine the salt.

In VGC you can pair it with Follow Me (+ Helping Hand for good measure) Indeedee-F, but then you’re just vulnerable to spread moves instead.

Himalayan Duck he used toxic orb or flame orb plus a low level sturdy skarmory with fly or low level sturdy dig geodude. Then copycat prankster riolu. Copycats the fly or dig and the first turn has a priority of plus one. The second turn is just normal fly or dig though so he has a 0 priority. This can be beaten with moves that can hit digging foes/ flying foes moves with negative priority ( to hit the second turn or if it isn’t a negative priority attack but a negative priority status like trick room it will stop the digs and or fly so you can just beat it normally then ) or moves with positive priority to hit the first turn
