    Helpful tip: pin the paper to the lighter fabric and press the HST’s open before removing the paper. The paper will give added stability to the bias edge so it won’t stretch when pressing. 😊

    Kimberly, Your videos have inspired me to try so many new things! For example, I have picked up cross-stitching again after years of defeating attempts. Most of my problems were addressed in your videos. Now I am enjoying fiber arts again. I had never heard of the triangles on a roll paper before watching this video. In the past I have found triangles to be another defeating task. After watching this video, I have decided to pick it up once again. I think the accuracy of the paper will make my adventure successful. Please continue to post videos. You are so encouraging.

I have been using them for many years and have never had to trim-up with this process. I’ve used many different ways to do half square and quarter square triangles...over the 40+ years I’ve been sewing, and this is theeee best BY FAR. =D

    Hello Lisa! We do have a TOAR roll that is meant for precuts like a JR and 2.5" squares, #PC100. Any TOAR can be used with precuts, as long as the cut size is equal or smaller than the precuts size. You can find this on the downloadable TOAR guide. www.fatquartershop.com/triangles-on-a-roll-guide-free-pattern

    Hello, so if I wanted to use this and make a nine patch star quilt...these finish at 2 1/2 inches..would my center piece nine patch have to be 2 1/2 squares? Also I would like triangles that finish at sayy 4 1/2inches what size triangles on a roll would I purchase? Thanks

  • @FatQuarterShopTX

    @FatQuarterShopTX

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hello Marilyn! If you are making the FQS Nine Patch Star quilt, yes the center patches need to finish at 2 1/2" square. So the Triangles on a Roll H250 would be the right size for that. For the size of roll you need, they are labeled with the finished size. So for triangles that finish at 4 1/2", get the 4.5" Triangles on a Roll, H450.
