Thank goodness for this! The remote I have doesn't have any pictures behind the top 5 TOTALLY CLEAR buttons. I was FREEZING ... in Hawaii. I didn't even know how to turn on the remote. I've got it set now! WOOT!

Thank you kind Sir. If anyone is having problems with the remote being a blank screen I just put white vinegar on a Q-Tip and cleaned the battery compartment connectors and it works as new again. 👍

how do you get it off celsius and back to fahrenheit?

Thank you so much for slow and simple explanation and what not to bother with (from Oz)! My aircon stayed on half the night because I had been madly pressing all buttons to get off. Just downloaded manual but its “bad”! Now I guess I press reset button and get back to the basics and rarely will I move that slider down again! Also does the “physical” button on the right of the aircon itself actually turn it off when all else fails?

Gergana Nedkova this model only has manual tabs which are hard to see where the air comes out, but most newer models have a set button for left to right now. Swing mode for either the up / dn or left /right allows continuous movement, set or turning off the swing to a desired position.

Hi there. Done all steps and still not going. So on AC unit right side I have like 3 lights : 1) operations, 2) timer,3)economy. Took batteries out press rest button,damn nothing still the same . On AC unit light flickering between timer and operations. Driving me crazy especially now when is nearly 40 Celsius outside.

Just did some research, when the indicator light & timer lights are flashing the unit is saying it has an error. If the indicator light flashes eg 4 times & the timer light flashes 3 times, the error code is 43.

Any idea why my unit is blinking green-I can not get my unit to blow heat

I thought my Fujitsu split system had failed. I couldn't get it to start. The remote said "Energy Eco" When I pressed on/off button the display went blank. In fact just about every button I pressed the display went blank for a few seconds... I changed the batteries not once but twice. Still the same. I was about to call the A/C repair guys when I noticed the terminal for one of the batteries was corroded. I got a magnifying glass foe a closer look and Yes. it had a white powder o=over the spring. A piece of fine sandpaper and I buffed it up. Viola.... It all came back up good as new.. If you have a problem it's worth checking the battery terminals in the Remote for corrotion.

@Regan Maclellan With the remote off LONG PRESS the Temperature Up button Until you get the letter C or F and then use the very same UP DOWN temperature buttons to Toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius and Voila. And yes, I had to search for that as well. Happy 2021 from Middle Earth

I’ve come back to this video and others many times. These remotes SUCK!! Mine was just stuck and didn’t change until I turned it on and off a few times. And they are so not intuitive.

Sooo, heat for summer and cool for summer???????? Help me out here, the lowest my temperature goes is 16 in heat mode but in cool the Lowest is 18° wtf? Is 40° here how do I use the AC????? They couldn't have made this thing more backwards...

Try taking the batteries out and cleaning the battery contacts in the remote.
