The BOSS RC-1 Loop Station is the simplest loop station you can get from BOSS because it only has the most basic features, including simple looping and overdubbing.
You can get it here on Amazon (I'm an affiliate):
amzn.to/3xx0rZ8
You can pause, erase, undo, and redo overdubs and loops, and change modes between Recording, Stop, and Display modes.
I walk you through how to do everything with the BOSS RC-1 including how to change modes, how to put in the battery, its basic functions, and also how to set up a looper pedal.
I also have this same tutorial on my website, Traveling Guitarist.

    Pedal was working earlier, but I must have double tapped or something, now I can't record or playback a loop. It just pops up the three lights if i try to playback or overdub. I wish there was just a factory reset button. I tried the mode selection stuff while watching this video, and also by following the manual directions, which are incredibly vague. They don't tell you when to exit all the clicks and double clicks. Tried 40 or 50 times, plugging, unplugging, pressing etc. Just insane. Same with your video. at what point do you exit? BTW, mine doesn't seem to behave the same as yours. perhaps it is just hooped.

    I don't get it. If you press and hold, it will delete the pattern, but also, if you press and hold, it will bring back the previously deleted loop? Either way, good video.

    Yikes I never thought of this. My guess is you can’t because the sounds are coming from the same source at the same time. Maybe there is a way to do it with effects routing in a DAW?

    Erasing one layer vs erasing the entire thing - both are just pressing and holding? What's the difference?

  • @svenjansen2134

    @svenjansen2134

    1. You erase the last recorded loop by pressing pedal over 2 secs WHILE PLAYING OR RECORDING. 2. You erase the whole loop by pressing pedal over 2 secs WHEN STOPPED. It says so in the 1 PAGE ONLINE MANUAL.
