lol I had NO idea that the post office had that. Though in my defense I don't ever go unless hubby makes me haha I'll have to let him know about this!

I dropped my eBay order into the kiosk box last Saturday. Now it's Monday evening it still says awaits item... should I be worried?

Thank u so much just realized I was pressing the wrong buttons and ended up having to stand in line...do they have free plain envelopes to mail items?

I think the only free packaging they provide is for priority and priority express mailings but you might ask at your post office to be certain

When the QR codes print is it important to match it to the correct envelope??

Yes you should match each sticker with the corresponding envelope or package- especially if each requires a different amount of postage. It will tell you the address on the screen

I will be visiting the USA and want to take advantage of this self-service kiosk to send large envelope flat mail (by First Class) to friends domestically. But I do not have a return address as I am only visiting. Will the kiosk still accept it?

That would be a great location for one of these. For all of the things you need to ship home or can have with you on the plane.

What is the difference in the process if I have graduation announcement and simply use $0.55 forever stamps, does your way provide a better service or something?

This is just another option the USPS offers if you need to purchase postage or verify that your parcel has enough postage.

@@pratikprakash7821 if you know you have enough postage on your parcel you would not need this machine and could mail your envelope- if you need to verify you have enough postage this machine is a great time saver

If you purchase priority pricing it includes tracking. You may also be able to purchase tracking for other mail. It offers most of the same pricing and features you can get at the postal counter

A street vendor with a vendors lisence, a ruler, tape, paper & a wireless printer might make a living in any airline terminal in the world. Anybody w online postal accounts & a smart phone w adaquate power reserves, tape, & paper, cardboard or boxes & a portable printer can mail out from some airports with the constraint of fitting the mail items thru the small letter size only postage slot (.25" +) on constrictive USPS letter mail boxes in some USA airports. Some airports have full parcel shipping venues with packaging supplies within the airport , but not necessarily accessable 24/7 or to people in a HURRY. If a scale & printer with wireless connection & paper & tape was available at airports many passangers & visitors would not need anything else aside from a ruler depending on the possible restriction of a postage opening of a pickup box. Think about how many scales & printers there r in an Airport....
