How to use the ApneaLink™ Air Home Sleep Testing Device
This video explains the entire home sleep testing process, from start to finish, with ApneaLink Air from ResMed. It demonstrates exactly how to set up the ApneaLink Air device once you get home, and explains how to use it.
The ApneaLink Air device is indicated for use by a Health Care Professional (HCP), where it may aid in the diagnosis of sleep disordered breathing for adult patients. ApneaLink Air records the following data: patient respiratory nasal airflow, snoring, blood oxygen saturation, pulse and respiratory effort during sleep. The device uses these recordings to produce a report for the HCP that may aid in the diagnosis of sleep disordered breathing or for further clinical investigation.

Hey, you really need to do a video showing how a woman would wear this thing. Most men have a flat chest space and women don’t making the instructions difficult to follow. Even if there had been written instructions I’m sure they would have not had instructions to put the thing on for women. Gods blessing for women make it difficult to know where to place it.
All my homies have sleep apnea
Terrible test didn't work once
Agreed. A video for woman is a must with the placement of the device.
Probably the worse sleep i’ve gotten in my life taking this test, if you are a side sleeper or like me and sleep on your stomach then get ready to get terrible sleep in fear that you might end the test from unplugging something.
I’ve been told I sound like a dolphin is getting murdered when I sleep
So I performed the test exactly as described in the instruction two nights in a row. The test seemed to have been performed well. But in the morning when I held the power button for 3 seconds like instructed, there was no red or green light in the “Test Completion” area. Super confusing system. I would not recommend this to others.
It’s crazy how many people have this horrid illness😔
I just done a sleep study with this machine and I found it to be very difficult to sleep with it, the nose unit made my nose itchy and having wires and the machine on my person made it hard for me to stay asleep.
The music is so loud I can't hear the instructions. Not here for a concert. Thanks!
I envy you long term CPAP users. I did a CPAP test and got 45 minutes total sleep with it over more than a month of testing 5 years ago. The severe sleep apnea gave me AFib. Tonight I take this test to be able to get a simple canula attached to an oxygen maker to help a little bit. How I wish the CPAP had worked for me.
I completed my in-home study this morning. It was easy to assembleand use. The video was very helpful.
These instructions were spot on and helped me set it up without issue.
Looks better than sleep studies of old, where you get fitted with a bunch of wires on your head and parts of your body. Plus, you do it at home instead of some weird place with a camera on you.
Tonight is my exam with the sleep Acnea machine. I ask my God that everything goes well ... Thank you very much for the explanation as the instructions sent by the doctor on the paper are a little confusing.
I found this video helpful. The test equipment was not uncomfortable. Taping the cannula and oximeter in place really helped a lot because I sleep restlessly.
The test with this unit was excellent the video helped to do it right.
Helpful video!! God bless everyone’s test🙏
I completed my at home sleep study.
Had trouble falling asleep with it on. Normally I don't have trouble sleeping at all, but at least the test worked.
