Conspiracy theory: Cossy only likes Splitface as much as he does because he was Surge's foil in Breakout.

That sideway-attaching of half the mask makes me think of doing an even SPOOKIER revamp, where he's all mutated and gross. Not that I have the pieces for that, but it'd be cool...

I never knew the face was just the same half just in two different colors until I was looking at something on either Brickset or BrickLink that brought me to the part inventory of Splitface. It really was a clever way to go about things. The things I missed out on because I never got into the building side of Constraction. It's all my fault for why it's dead now! 😔

I actually did fully colored versions of Splitface myself using a fully red and fully gun-metal torso. I remember making a couple of MOCs that used the fully-colored versions of Splitface's mask and lots of other people had done the same thing.

I've got this guy on the way soon as a part of a small hero factory bundle I got for a great price. You've now hyped me for him!

Pretty sure this guy was the first constraction villain set I ever got, and yeah, he’s awesome. Too bad I lost the little green laser piece and snapped one of the claw blades 😭

@4:00 It's impressive that Dylan was able to turn a messy combiner like Gaardus into a coherent build with good color blocking. I can really see the matoran with a bunch of mechanical experimentation.

The splitface revamp where he's splitting in 2 reminds me of Rack'n'Ruin from transformers

I recently got this guy, and surprisingly the seller included an extra lime spike piece. Idk if that was an extra part in the set, but I’m happy regardless I got an extra piece

BIS is the place for that. For videos like this it's a lot harder and more time consuming to source MOCs that use certain pieces that the set has. So I just use builds that do it well, or that I find the quickest. I'd love to have every set review episode feature new builders each time, but given the time that these videos take to make, I don't really think it's feasible. But if you have suggestions for how I could do so, I'd love to hear it. Any time I can feature new builders I will always do my best to do so :)

probably just my stupid little brain but i wonder if splitface was always like that ?? mechanical AND organic, i like to think he was organic before whatever incident happened that caused half of his body to be destroyed
