May I ask a favor - would you kindly put me in touch with the contact of the 3rd party who did this work (as I am pretty sure it’s not from the factory). I am taking delivery of a 2021.5 Atlas (not Cross Sport) White SEL Premium R-Line in a few weeks from Bayside VW here in Long Island, NY and would like to do some similar things to mine. I noticed the R-Line badging, the roof rails and the chrome above the headlights are black too. Wish I could have bought mine from you. Best, Michael

I just bought a 2021 VW Atlas SE V6 Tech package, I believe mine has the park assist it has the P that I see in this video, I am just terrified to even try the parallel park also scared to even let the Atlas do it, I don't want to hit someone's car. But that's just my fear.

Been trying to get that color combo, it's hard

Cool. I am taking delivery of mine in a few days. However, that parking space was huge. I would like to see how the system reacts if the size of the space is a close call. Can it work with a tighter space?

I own an atlas, not sure if you've tested it out fully yet - since you've had your's for a few months - but it will not allow you to engage the park assist if the space is not big enough. just a heads up

@@kalpipo300 Well for what i'ts worth, I have the SEL Premium, and I've used the feature a total of one time, and that was to test it. It's far to inefficient for me, as I can both parallel-park and reverse park. You're not missing out.

@@jshauns yeah it just seemed a cool thing. I'm a good parallel parker having lived in Manhattan. But I am still uneasy doing it in the Atlas because it is so much bigger than my Passat. That said, I love my Atlas.

Its just because the lights are LED. The camera gives a weird reaction to it.

It can perpendicular park auto too right?

Thats just the frame speed on camera. They are solid in person

Stress from parallel parking? If you don't know how to parallel park on your own, you SHOULDN'T be driving. It's part of the driving test in Texas.
