Great info! I'm having trouble pairing for automatic start with the app....do you have a video on that. my vehicle is registered to app but says it still needs to pair, I'm paired because I use the phone, etc.

Getting confidence in the tech aspects of this car is holding me back from purchase.

Excellent video. Just bought my Atlas 2024 full, but I noticed a few things that are a bit disappointed. First, it doesn't seem to have a lowering mirrors when reverse on the DRIVER side, just on the right side mirror. Don't understand why. Second, there is no backlit for the volume +/- buttons, right under the main tablet system. At night there is no way to see those buttons. And third, and the most important, is about sensors when approaching an object; they are all activated, but it doesn't seem to alert on time that you are approaching something...scary specially if you are driving and have to stop suddenly. Any comments? Thanks.

Could there be a way to make the symbols turn the color of the ambulant lighting???

Wish you would have shown how to activate the folding side mirrors. I watched one video but it said to access it through the infotainment settings but mine does not have an option for side mirrors or does it have the option on the side mirror adjustment joystick on the door. My window sticker says mine is equipped with folding mirrors

The R Line is the only one that has the motorized folding mirrors.

This was a super huge disappointment for us, too! My 2016 Sienna can blast this thing away!

I have 2024 VW Atlas comfortline It has these disadvantages so far 1- water gets inside the engine room once you wash my Atlas 2- you have to put the driving mode on Eco every time you start the car , it is annoying 3- the car is rattling a lot from the doors and seats 4- the sound of the heating fan is loud 5- it doesn’t have the windshield heater inside the frond window glass , Toyota rav4 has it 6- line assist is not very efficient, try it and you will know what I mean 7- the radar system doesn’t work in the snowy and rainy conditions 8- the fan of climate control is only controlled by the screen, if the screen damaged then you may freeze or get very hot until you get to a mechanical shop 9- the engine turns off once you shift the gear from R to D

Can you show us the atlas at night? Lighting looks awesome!

I have a great question for you, that no one can answer, I recently bought a 24 cross sport sel premium r and for some reason when I go through my different speedometers on the view button, I am missing the “R” style speedometer do you happen to know why?

Why doesn't Atlas Cross sport premium R line give me the option to use R line mode view?

I just traded my 2021 Atlas Cross Sport in yesterday for the new 2024 Atlas Cross Sport R line. I can't figure out how to get the mirrors to fold in when I lock it like my other one did. Otherwise, I love the car.

This is the R line, and you would think so, but it doesn't have that feature. It also doesn't have the compass in the rear-view mirror. But overall I do like the new one better than the 2021. The computer is much easier to navigate, the heated seats actually heat to where they feel warm. I do miss the folding mirrors and the compass though. @@joshuagomez2086

So VW doesn"t tell the public that the Car New Module is defective and it takes MONTHS to get the part in.. There were over 700 people waiting for the same part and I had to wait from MARCH til this month to get the damn part in.. They KNEW it was defective and still kept selling the Atlas with out Navigation Maps and other features because the Car Net Module ran all those programs. VW was sued in a Class Action Lawsuit over this exact issue.. You think after that they would fix that issue before selling more cars with the defective part

Try JEEP 🙄we’re in the middle of a lemon law lawsuit right now. You wouldn’t expect for the price we paid for a grand Cherokee summit to have the issues we’re having. From what our mechanic has told us most carmakers had/have issues for the higher end 2023 models. Our JEEP has been at the dealership shop more the half the time we’ve owned it. It’s frustrating for sure

Yes. Controls are on the driver seat. Set where you want the seat and outside mirrors. Press Set and then one of the numbers, 1, 2, or 3 to save the preset with the key you have on you at that time.

Can you do an Equalizer tutorial? I fear it's either underwhelming or something is off...

The bad points of my VW Atlas 2024 are You can’t put the seat heat ON at night in order to have a warm seat or steering once you start the engine at morning inside your house Secondly You can’t put the car on Eco mode permanently But we have to change to eco mode every time we start the car

Yes You can! I just figured it out. Click on climate control settings and you will see it says switch on at start of trip depending on the settings. You can select seat heating, seat ventilation, and steering wheel heating

The car saves the selection until you change it. I drive mostly in eco mode and when I turn on the car it’s still in eco mode. Same thing if I select comfort mode.

No, unless you potentially have a computer hookup to turn certain things on or off, this is a legal compliance thing that they have to have on by default.

Yes you can turn auto start/ auto stop off in the information center under the vehicle menu.@@stebesplace

There's a USB-C socket on the rear view mirror on the passenger side, intended for powering a dash cam.

@BachmanVolkswagenLouisville For the phone overheating issues I've had with the wireless charger - my dealer did a software update that's supposed to address this issue. My version was 1939 and they updated to 1969. The phone still heats up on the charger if not fully charged, but so far I haven't gotten the overheat warning again. I haven't taken a long trip of and hour plus yet, so we will see...

Mr. Bachman; How are you sir? I am interested how to reset the REAR ASSISTANCE CHECK LIGHT DUE TO THE LITTLE INCIDENT COST ME $1300.00 BY THE DEALER CHEAP TO RESETING IT. I don't want to pay $1300.00. It is the light that is in the dash indicating, Rear Assist Light Inop, thanks. Guess I have to take it to the dealership but it cost me $1300.00. Respectfully; Andy

The model here is the R (VW's flagship Atlas). I have the SE w/ Tech, as well, and some of those features are not available on our peasant models. ;)

Is the ambient lighting only a available for the SEL and above. I only have the color blue with my SE.

Yes. I have the SE TECH and it doesn’t have adjustable ambient lighting. To be honest it doesn’t bother me.

Just bought a 2024 RLine and have two questions... when playing music (not via apple car play) how do I get the screen to display the album and artist? Second, is the exit screen. It shows the seats of the car and the front two are greyed out and the back are an orange color. What does this mean? There is a clickable pencil icon in the corner but when I click it , it doesnt seem to do anything. Any help?

For the music to display the album, use the hand gesture from right to left. That’s the only way I have figured out so far

Atlas is awesome but as with most new cars, dont get the app. It turns your car into a data mining machine. Every imaginable detail about your driving can be sold. 🎉

My infotainment unit constantly reboots while driving. Very annoying. Also the feature that kills the engine at the light is just a starter motor waiting to be replaced. Not impressed. I actually prefer driving my Chrysler town and country minivan over the Atlas

Парктроник срабатывает от разметки полосы, CarPlay и gps работает на оценку 2 из 10. И я купил самую дорогую машину vw. Atlas sel prosport R line 2021
