Using a Revlon hot air brush on your hair can help you achieve a salon-quality blowout at home. Here's a general guide on how to use it:
Preparation: Start with clean, towel-dried hair. It's best to let your hair air dry until it's about 80% dry to minimize heat damage.
1. Heat Protection: Apply a heat protectant spray or serum to your hair to shield it from the heat of the hot air brush.
2.Section Your Hair: Divide your hair into sections using clips or hair ties. This will make the styling process more manageable and ensure that each section gets evenly styled.
3.Turn On the Hot Air Brush: Plug in your Revlon hot air brush and select the desired heat setting. It usually has multiple heat settings to choose from depending on your hair type and styling needs.
4.Start Styling: Begin with the bottom sections of your hair. Grab a small section of hair (about 1-2 inches wide) and place the hot air brush close to the roots. Then, slowly glide the brush down towards the ends of your hair, rotating it as you go to create volume and smoothness. You can rotate the brush inward or outward to achieve different styles.
5.Repeat: Continue working in sections until all of your hair is styled. For added volume, you can lift sections of hair at the roots while styling.
Cool Down: Once you've styled all of your hair, let it cool down for a few minutes to set the style.
6.Finish with Styling Products: If desired, you can finish your look with a small amount of styling product, such as hairspray or serum, to add shine and hold.
7.Clean Up: After using the hot air brush, make sure to unplug it and let it cool down completely before storing it away. You can also clean the brush attachment with a damp cloth to remove any product buildup.
