This tutorial stands out for its clarity in focusing on what you need to know, rather than delving into unnecessary details or showcasing the plumber's expertise excessively, which is common in many other tutorials I've watched. It's refreshing to find one that's straightforward and to the point
I just fitted new radiator today and changed location of radiator in my bedroom. Watched your video using push fits and you saved me a lot of £££. Thank you for your good knowledge my friend
I've been searching for push fit pipe tutorial and yours is the only one clear all my doubts in 7 min! Well done and Thank You!!
I was put of using speedfit due to fear of the unknown and ignorance.. This cleared up most of my queries in one short YT video. Brilliant.. thanks
Many thanks! I love the fact that knowledgeable folk like you take the time to post useful videos like this!

As usual an excellent bit of educational content, clearly explained for the likes of me who have never done it before! Had the cold water feed to my boiler (which was run outside) burst on Saturday and has now been run indoors using this speedfit stuff. Job done thanks to you and this great video! Much appreciated 🙏
Nicely and clearly explained. You covered all the scenarios that most DIYers will face. Top marks.

Thank you for explaining this so clearly. I had an external tap fitted under my sink and discovered a lot of "white plastic" had been used. I now now how useful this will be for future projects. Indebted to you,
I just did a bathroom project and used JG Speedfit all the way, it was so simple and very effective. Saved me a fortune on plumbers bills. Even cut it with a hacksaw (don't shout at me!!) and it was trouble free once the burrs were removed with a sharp knife.
Clear and straight to the point. Many thanks!
You are my best friend now! Thank you very much for this instructions I fixed my sink myself!

Great video mate, perfect explanations throughout 👌 I do have a question for you please. If I use a push fit on a copper pipe, ideally how much copper should be present for the push fit to connect comfortably? I have a slow leak on the main pipe to my toilet and the compression fitting is stuck (olive is gripped hard and I don't have space to cut it at an angle to get it off 😭) so I was considering to cut the main pipe shorter so I can just remove the compression fitting but the copper isn't that long so I'm not sure if it would be best to cut and extend with the plastic pipe as you've shown. PS - the leak is behind the isolation screw, so the slow leak is consistently dripping and it's not the nut being loose as I've given it another tighten, no luck though. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Thank you

So what is the minimum distance between two Speedfit connectors (obviously to allow later removal)? Say and elbow and a valve feeding my sink. I am refitting for the valve and I want the current flex pipe to be in the same position. It would be useful actually to know the minimum length of Speedfit pipe needed as an alternative way of looking at it. Thanks.
Well! It's that simple, thank you!!

Perhaps worth mentioning that those inserts can be used with compression fittings whereas the ones with the extra washer (not in the vid) are for push fit fittings.

Is that not a compression insert , using plastic pipe shouldn't it be the insert with the 2 rubber o rings on ? Explained very well and clear perfect for beginners

Very good vid, thanks! But could you tell me if these fittings can be used on flexible plastic pipes? I have a plastic pipe feeding my toilet and the only way of isolating the water when working on it is by the main stop valve. Could I use speed fittings on flexible pipe so I can fit an isolation valve? Thanks in advance!
Top quality mate!

Great video thank you. Would these push fits go on older 1/2" copper pipe which I'm told is a tad larger in diameter than 15mm pipe?
