Thx for sharing. Came here after seeing the EV version release here in Denmark. The driverassist pack contains the 360 camera with park assist here. Little annoying if you want the camera option, but really don't care about the park assist. If the function is to have its justification, it would have been optimal to see more difficult parking.

Some North American models were shipping with the 360 camera but no park assist because of a shortage of modules. If you're putting through a factory order check with your dealer to see if they can add on the park assist credit

I have a 2024 Explorer ST about to be delivered with the 360-degree camera credit but does have the park assist 2.0. option. Does the park assist not need the 360 camera?

The vehicle uses a series of different sensors for park assist, so the 360 camera is meant more for the driver than anything. It's weird though because some Ford vehicles require the 360 camera to get park assist while others don't

I have a 2006 , No screen ! We're the park aid on/off - I think this is the back sensors ?

You should be able to turn off the beeping through the cluster screen above the steering wheel. Go into Setup --> Parking Aid and then press Trip/Reset to turn it on/off

How do you switch between left and right hand parking spots?

Option you dont need. Good lord. Its not difficult driving a suv. Try a semi with a 53' in heavy city traffic. Parallel park that. Lol

I don't think that people with mobility issues would agree. I had shoulder surgery years ago and it was a literal pain trying to park

As long as you've got park assist it is! In models without park assist it would just show a "Navigate to Parking" button that can show you available parking near your destination

I would hate to be the one waiting behind you …lol. Let’s make people even dumber. Useless tech IMO…oh well

Haha I feel that way whenever I see people having to back in rather than pull forward into a spot to parallel park. I can see park assist being useful for people with mobility issues more than anything
