Oh. No wonder. I use 2 android phones. Thanks.
This is fantastic. I haven’t been using Lists at all because we already use Planner on my team and I didn’t know how Lists was different. I’m changing the workflow for our team based on your video. Thank you!
I am instrumental in a new startup that has applied for non-profit status. Kevin has impressed me so much I am recommending his videos for training our small crew. I am in Colorado and the Organization is in Fresno California. I just set up MS 365 on four laptops to get us started and Lists is going to be instrumental with our communications and collaborations. Thanks Kevin.

@Saul Espinoza Do you have an updated link onto Microsoft Lists since I have problem with a calculated column formula. I have tried a lot of combinations for the syntax but when I hit the save button for the new column created with the Use Calculated Value checkbox checked and with default value filled with the formula " = ["01/2023"] + ["02/2023"]" for instance, I have at the bottom of the creation pane : "A formula has s spelling mistake or refers to a column that does not exist." and the columns 01/2023 and 02/2023 exist in my list. I you have help on this topic, I would really appreciate. Thx.
Lists, To Do and Planner. Microsoft has made a mess. You finally made it clear for me. Keep up the good work. You are a life-saver. You deserve a million subscribers, with the content you have.

Agreed. Planner is quite good but why so many apps?

@@chair56789 Yep. Am new to teams, and I've spent several days setting up multiple teams, but STILL can't figure out how to integrate Lists, Planner, calendar and To Do. Can't tell how to (easily) share between them. Don't want to onboard my teams and train them without determining best work flow. So frustrating! Help Kevin!!! :)

Glad I’m not the only one confused, seems like they have a bunch of apps that compete with each other instead of working together
Thanks for this! I look forward to more videos about list setting up a ticketing system and possibly using power automate
Thank you, Kevin! As always, your video was easy to follow and super informative.
You’re a GREAT teacher! Is there ANYTHING tech-related you DONT know? 😁
Awesome!! There's finally a big jump of lists. Thanks for sharing.
Wow that was the best tutorial on Lists I’ve seen so far! Thank you for demystifying this tool for me!
This channel is top notch ! Great Information that makes things simple. Thank you Kevin
Very useful and the strength is flexibility to various tasks. I have been using Excel for enlisting and describing my literature, but this is more productive. Thank you again Kevin.
Your energy and the easy way you explain everything is so great. I am really trying to help move our small HR department from just Excel to this Office 365 and to improve our processes by getting the most out of what we already have. I see the potential, but I have a lot to learn about Power Automate and Power Apps among everything else. I always come back to your videos. Is there any way you can do some of these things from an HR angle? Thanks for what you do.
I'm lovin' the frequency of vids!
I’m an operations manager - had no idea Lists was an option ( face-palm moment)This has just Changed my workflow dramatically - I’ve used Notion and so many other forms to keep me organised - embarrassed but so excited.
nice, I try to watch one of your videos every day. It benefits me. Thanks for providing information about Softwares
Hey Kevin , great content you create! I'm struggling to create formulas in Lists, all information is outdated and I can't seem to find a guide that explains how to create formulas like adding the values of two columns in aa third one or diving the values of two columns and placing it in a third one ;) I would appreciate guidance or if you have a video made about this? Thank you
THANK YOU !!!! Thank you so much for this channel!
Kevin! You’re my fave.
Wasn't that interested in Lists until I watched this. Very nice presentation Kevin.
Hey Kevin, Your tutorial on Lists was great, keep up the good work...
Great work on the voice over while showing content, flow felt good and it was very informative and looking forward to a future video's on short cuts and cool tips for this app. Thank you for this.
I've never heard of MS Lists, but am thinking it could solve an issue I'm pondering. Great tutorial (as always)!! I'm off to learn about Power Automate 😃 Thanks so much, Kevin!
Just started using it. Keen to see some good practices
Kevin, this really helped with with getting started. I wanted to know what it does before I invest time in this. In principle I see a online platform to host a traditional Excel list. The beauty is that there is not messing with the "framework" of the list as it often happens in Excel. In my 20 years of working in Excel I have seen my fair share of crazy lists. I call this Excel abuse. I will give this a try ... let's see if this sticks.
Appreciate your efforts Kevin. Very informative video and nicely explained.
Good summary of lists, with quick examples and distinction s that help round out the definition
Thanks for this video Kevin. Super helpful to take advantage of MS tools :)
Great video, very easy to use. Going to use it for asset management. Actually I could use this for stock market portfolio management also 👍
Thanks for your great tutorials. REQUEST: Please do a tutorial on sharing one list to multiple SharePoint sites.
Hi Kevin, first, thanks for so many of your videos! Second, do you happen to know when or if we can use custom list templates (beyond using an existing list, I want the rows to already be there when I make a new list)? I have been able to find how to save my list as a template, but cannot figure out how to use my saved custom templates.
Couldn't do it without you Kevin!!!! Thanks Microsoft for Kevin Stratvert!! I am a Site Lead for Afterschool Program I keep looking for more tips from you to apply in the program?? Keep up the good work..
Can't wait for the full roll out and standalone apps. Have loads of projects waiting to be converted from Excel Tables into manageable list with documentation attachments / links and photos to manage project assets that can be shared.
Hey Kevin, I've just tried Microsoft Lists with Microsoft Teams. It is quite fun at the beginning. I'm going to share with my buddy in office next Monday.

I see what you did there
Great, like usual! I don't know why i don't see Lists on my E3 account, but i can use it on Teams, also i can use it on my personal account.
This looks pretty good. Thanks for giving us this tutorial. One question that crosses my mind is whether the list can be shared with someone outside of my organization. The Lists app might be useful for sharing an issue/punch list on a project with a customer we deliver to (not part of our organization). Thanks.
Thank you Kevin, I wish my professors were like you^^
Much appreicated Kev!
Hi Kevin, Most of your videos are very useful and resourceful. Thank you for creating such helpful and informative contents.
Kevin, you always have great content, many thanks. Is there a way of using lookup columns in Lists? For example, if there's a parent/child relationship between two lists (or more), is it possible to model this relationship?
Hi Kevin thanks for the comprehensive videos! How can I scheduled due dates from a list to my students calendar?
Hi, Kevin, I'm watching a lot of videos from you, thank you so much for all your insightful demonstrations - they are really helpful in doing my job. May I request something? I've checked on Microsoft Project, and it would be great if you could make a video on Microsoft and also compare with Lists;) Thank you - Merry Christmas and happy new year ;)
Thanks for the nice video! On a different context, Is there a way to set default values in MS Forms fields?
This is really great, thanks. I am looking how to create subgroups in lists. Example would be a FAQ list where you would group questions of a same topic under the same heading. When you click on the heading, all your questions related to that particular topic would open.
Awesome explanation! Really like your videos! Simple question on the assets management. How do create a simple check in and check out inventory scheme? After I add a list with equipment, how do other employees see list and check out equipment themselves? Thanks!
Thank you for the video!
Hi Kevin, great intro video. I'd like to know more about the tracking capabilities of lists and if they are similar or different to planner and sharepoint. Thanks.
Thanks for the tutorial, very useful as always. When will we be able to migrate a list from one sharepoint to a new sharepoint maintaining the metadata and configurations?
Dear kevin Everytime I open my youtube, your videos are either first or second on list and Everytime I get to know that Microsoft has launched a new app. Thanks for the updates
Thanks Kev. I've learned something new today ☺
Thanks Kevin, another useful video! QQ: Can you create lists within lists?
Hey Kevin, can you do a tutorial about exporting from Microsoft List? Specifically, exactly what data will get exported vs what doesn't. For example, do comments left in a list get exported or when there have been changes or revisions made within a list?
hi kevin i'm mark i wanted to say you that your explaination is incredible that makes me feel very interesting amazing keep on doing more videos thank you so much
Thanks for posting this. I definitely am going to share out this video with my management team so they know this exists. Except, I do not see Lists yet in our tenant

Thanks very much sir You are such a great 👍 teacher
Hi everyone, Kevin here, today I wanna show you.... ....... love this line and your way to say💓
Thanks Kevin for putting this video together 😊 May I know if MS List only limited to Office Insiders? I can’t seem to find it in my Office 365.
Thank you for that, i wanna ask you, is there any easy way to save the important links that i need, and use them whenever i want.
Great video, thank you!
Hallo Matt - thanks for sharing this quick tutorial - I am currently using airtable but would love to implement Microsoft lists. Do you know if it is possible to create a layout of the records in a list in an a4 format for printing ? Kind of like a gallery but with a record for each page so I can print out a booklet with a detailed sheet page for each record . Hope it makes sense . Thanks !
Excellent overview Kevin. I need to find out if there is a way to set the values that are available for a column, conditioned on the values for an adjacent column (if that makes any sense). For example, if column A is set to "Optional (Y/N) = N", the Implementation Date in the next column should default to "NOW".
GREAT tutorial, gonna give a killer demo to my team tomorrow. thx
Hello Kevin, big thumb up for all the (always) useful information ! Thanks to you, I started to use it. The ideal product to follow our projects ! Any idea when MS Lists will be available for Android ?
Great presentation 🎉
Hi Kevin, these all videos are really helpful, keep up the good work 👍👍
Excellent content and very usful
Thank you Kevin, can you tell me, can an item in a list automatically move to another list using Power Automate?
Hi Kevin. Great videos. Can I ask whether you can move Lists between Channels in Teams. If so, how?
Hi Kevin, is there a way to share content on dual monitors in Microsoft Teams?
Excellent tutorial. Thanks. Subscribed
Awesome, So nicely taught, thanks Kevin!
Well done Kevin, once again a great video. The Lists app doesn’t seem to be available yet through Office 365 for Business in Australia. I’d welcome your views on whether Lists could be used as a CRM tool for businesses that don’t have MS Dynamics?
Very helpful, great and full of knowledge. It's totally worth it.
Thanks, Kevin. This was another great production of yours. Keep it up!
How to use flows would be great!
bro you are a geek!!! weldone for this tutorials of urs..
Very helpful. Thank you!
Thank you very much Kevin !
This sounds great! Are you able to limit users to only view and edit records created by them?
So helpful, thank you!
Great channel and thank you for great summary of MS LISTS. QQ, Is it possible to have list create a TASK in MS Planner?
Nice video Kevin! I run engineering for this stuff.
The more interesting question is: how can you explain the difference between Excel und Lists to end users? Despite the fact that you can use workflows there is a problem in explaining why lists are better in some cases.
Hi Kevin, your videos are great! Can I create a list and assign tasks to a group of people, allowing each person to interact with their respective task independently, without it being visible to others? It would be great if you could let me know. Thanks!
Hi, thank you for your explanation but my office has only to do list. I don't see list
Thanks!!
Thank you, helps a lot. A video on Power Automate would be fab if you get time 😊

Excellent video.
Thank you!
As well is list good for personal use like clean track of bills , chores, and general things to do in a personal life. I like the video
Thank you for this! How do I create a time column?
Hi Kevin...this video is really helpful. Can we create a dependent drop-down list? If yes how can we do that
Great video, thanks for posting. Is it possible to mail merge in list?
Superb Kevin, really liked all your videos This helped us a lot to improve and implement new tech in our organization
Hi Kevin, thank you for the video. Could you a more detailed one. Like explaing the different fomratting options : like the country option, when I select, I cannot find how use it next or when I was trying to make my first list I realised that the 1st default cannot be deleted nor the formatting for the same can be changed. Your inputs on these matter would be great help for people like to use Lists. I have learnt so much from your videos
Can you talk about managed metadata in modern SPO and folksonomy implementation in particular? I'd love to see how folksonomies might improve searching in their new world of less hierarchy. I want to put power back into users control as much as possible.
Awesome feature! I hope the android app improves soon!
Great video with very practical approach.
