e2 Helps significantly if you want Lunacub to be more than just a glorified ward in most cases. The module makes her s2 charge much quicker due to SP on attack, and the attackspeed from m3 is really good. Definitely recommend raising her, personally. She has been super fun to use in Is3 too.

Curious but her skill says if she killed an enemy she gains 8 sec camo, does that apply to every enemy kill?

@@miirico5398 If she kills an enemy she gets 8 seconds of camo yes. Any enemy she kills. Not enemies in her range, but she her self kills~ Since she targets lower defense stuff and has over 1k atk this isn't very hard for her to do along with the buffed ASPD.

Small reminder that Lunacub has Camouflage, not Invisibility. Both of these effects make the unit untargetable, however, Camouflaged units will still take Splash damage.

Her E2 is fantastic as it unlocks her module, as well as the ability to master her second skill. This amps the attack speed benefit of her S2, as well as her module just outright giving her attack speed. It also gives her SP each time her attack doesn't kill the enemy, so between S2M3 and MU3 she can cycle S2 appreciably faster than if you didn't do both of the above. Of course, only invest into her if you're gonna use her; but I highly, highly recommend it.

This is the reason I'm following kukki, he has an uncanny ability to understand operators and explain their usages and abilities in a way that's easy to understand and use in my every day Arknighting. I'm smol imagination brain when it comes to Arknights and often don't see the clever ways of using operators that others do. So having kukki around to help get a grasp on them is incredibly helpful and enables me to understand and enjoy the game so much more

On top of all that, Lunacub has great voicelines and great artwork!

Her archetype prioritizes low-defense enemies, greatly easing the challenge of sustaining her camouflage while S2 is active.

i wasn't planning on building lunacub since i have so many snipers for every situation already, but this convinced me to do it. that almost permanent camo looks very handy.

I just found these guides after getting back into the game and I love these! I've been playing since launch so I know *how* to play arknights. Wahts really interesting to me is seeing examples of how to use a variety of operators. I really enjoyed this video, its to the point and focuses on specific strategy and strengths and weakness of the operator. well done!

She is really great in my Abyssal team - I can place AH way more aggressively but sometimes they need bit of support, that's when Lunacub can work really well (April too but there is need to redeploy her from time to time).

Lunacub in a nutshell: "she's just standing there, menacingly!"

Yep. I was on the fence before, but she's a must-build. Lunacub's perma-camo talent lets her bypass some irritating stage mechanics, and her kit is well-designed overall with a module in sync with her skills. Unfortunately, that does bump down Firewatch and April for my build priorities. Looking forward to taking all three of them on IS, however; let's see how Phantom likes a no-block stage clear 😂😂

While April also has camouflage like Lunacub, Firewatch's S1 gives her invisibility which is renders her immune to AoE splash dmg like Dorothy's vision boss or Invitation to Wine boss

Its have a good damage and i don't even need to bother it being destroy nice i really love it

I got her to E2 80 on the day the event started, and her module to level 3 as soon as she had enough trust for it but she doesn't have S2M3 yet because I've been too busy with mastering skills for Texas alter and Penance but she is definitely on my list. I was able to get something like 10+ copies of her when I did 300 pulls to spark Nearl alter. She was one of the operators I was excited about aside from Texas and Penance.

I love building operators with cool niches like her, whisperain, quercus, ect.. and just completely forget about them when a chance to use the niches arrive.

I ignored her when I got her since I just wanted to E2 Texas-alter and Vigil. Thanks for putting this video out. Went ahead and E2'd her as well. She is actually low-key really strong operator. Just like shown here the power to not be targeted by enemies is huge. I will definitely use her on IS modes. S2M3 is also a good idea, pairs really well with her module I noticed.

Thank you Kukki, I inmediately wanted to use her when I got her and saw her design, but couldn't think of use cases for her. :)

Of course ended up getting her to max potential in my Texas Alter rolls and she's been so fun to use in the event stages. Just place her wherever a lot of weaker enemies pass by and enjoy the free damage from her camo while the rest of the squad members can focus on the bigger threats. I've already E2'd her and she's almost to 100 trust for her module. I'm still working on masteries for other new operators though, so she'll have to wait for now.

This is basically what I did with her (as I mention in another comment), in my case I already have her module at max level but still working on other masteries so her S2M3 has to wait for a little bit longer.

If lunacub came out 2 years earlier. She will be an easy OP operator or at least a game breaking support DPS. Her talent is too good to be ignore. However, this is the problem with AK. I can't see the functional of her with an old account or for the future stages. Many of the 4★ and 5★ are easily to be skipped. One of the reason are they are fighting for the squad position. I don't need to explain how cracked todays 6★ operator. Even we can complete most of the stage with only 2 fast redeployed operator. This is my main concern with AK as veteran player. We need more a strategy based stages. The one where its punish DPS focused squad. Something like "the eggs" from abyssal creature.

My Luna is pot 7, my primo pouch is empty, and my Texas is nonexistent. I feel your pain!

I think firewatch is invincible, even that black fart can't one shot her. I remember someone using her.

Yea, I tried Luna in IS2, with the ASPD and the Camouflage, she tears away the annoying Scarlet Dancers, especially in the normal ending of IS2

Glad I'm not the only one who thought about all the random game-breaking stuff you can do with a permanent camouflaged operator. :P

Early times I'm playing Arknight : "This operator is really niche.. But surely it will help me in the long run! " After one year+ playing Arknight : Only using meta and most broken 6* operator to brainlessly clear stage instead of struggling for hours using niche operators

its unique but she fell pretty hard around the late game, the fact she gains no damage increase in her S2 makes her hard to kill anything and her S1 kinda throws away her niche, shes essentially a mook slayer

Basicaly u want her to be invisible 4 ever. No enemy will care except enemy scout that have scan range but those enemy are almost non existing outside chap 3 and cc. Also need 8 refined solvent to e2, thats a real pain in the ass when u dont have crafting recipe unlocked

Shouldn't have underestimated her due to being a 4*, now after knowing her Talent and Skill 2, I'm definitely building her. Funny and sad how I'm prioritizing her over Vigil. Plus, her module is extremely nice, practically having her SP Charge Type be both Per Second and Per Hit.

Fun fact: Ofc lunacub S2 has the range, camouflage and ability to hit drones, but pure dmg wise tomimi s1 has more atk and atk speed. Edit: also Lin will mostly replace her niche, changing the ability to prevent getting targeted by enemies to just not giving a sh*t

Yeah, it's a musical expressing meaning something along in a singing manner or songlike. It's a flowing, melodic feeling, like if the instrument was singing rather than playing.

I think lunacub better than firewatch, is not ?

Does it also work with IS3 Chests?

Depends what u use it for, S3 for Killing Enemy with bulk Def/Res Stat S2 more comfy with good Skill Uptime and cost also does AOE dmg (3), it has good physical too to kill most enemy

Not really necessary, but E2 does help her performance since you'll gain access to masteries and module.

Sorry but my take away is, Don't E2 her. Or at the very least you dont play her much different from E1 max or E2, damage is nice but save your resources for other ops that really rely on the dps.

Another comment mentions it but investing in her (s2m3 and module) actually makes her viable dps-wise allowing you to play her more aggressively. Otherwise you probably wont event want to activate her skill to keep her camouflaged. Of course she is not game changing but she has a niche that if you know how to use, can provide variety in gameplay and be very useful
