Thanks Larry, this video was very helpful. I’ve been trying to explain to my husband why I bought the kamado bono over a cheaper kamado bbq. Your video explained all the features of the split grill/deflectors perfectly & now he’s is agreement we bought the right one.

would you have much of an opinion on this vs the kamado joe? been looking to get a kamado and was curious to know if there were any major differences between the two since there is quite the substantial price difference Thanks great video btw

Hi, first of all thanks for watching, ive seen Joes many times, never used one tbh, but Kamado Bono, as you said beats on price drastically, quality is very good, main difference in them is a hinge system and the lock, witch to me im good with Bono. Other main thing is Bonos Lifetime warranty, is super good, great service, if anything breaks on ceramics, usually will get it within 48h. Using Bono - i have most sizes, but i was using 25" for 16h cook on low and slow, with only one load of charcoal, witch retains heat super good. As mentioned earlier main difference is price, also Bono has a very large selection of accessories for the grill. Hope this helped.
