SPYPOINT introduces Instant Mode! On-demand requests are now a reality!
Currently available in the FLEX-S cellular trail camera, when enabled, Instant Mode allows you to make requests to update the status of your trail camera or request a photo or video be taken by the camera. Once taken the photo or video preview is immediately viewable in the SPYPOINT app.
This video shows you how to enable Instant Mode as well as how to make requests.

Probably my new favorite feature :)
I can not accurately describe the level of excitment I am experiencing at the moment, about the the new FLEX-S having "INSTANT" mode, been waiting for this for awhile now! the new G-36's superior connectivity and beefier anntena are amazing so this just adds to it!

Thats getting closer to a live view mode. i wonder if spypoint could in the future send out an update to the regular Flex model to have this instant mode

Does my FLEX G-36-P2YC have this instant mode ? I can’t find it , it just says standard

Hi Bill! The Flex G-36 does not have this feature. The Instant Mode and On Demand Requests are available for the FLEX-S; our first SPYPOINT camera to support this feature!

@@Spypoint I am curious to know the difference between the original Flex vs the Flex S (other than the solar feature) is it the same other than having solar? Does the original Flex have the on Demand feature?

The FLEX does not have Instant Mode - On Demand, only the FLEX-S, and its photo definition is 36mp, while Flex is only 33mp. You may check more here: www.spypoint.com/en/products/compare?i=158%2C142

@@Spypoint perfect thank you. Considering upgrading from the Micro LTE V we currently use. Are you aware of any security boxes for the Flex S yet? I have those for the LTE

You're welcome! At this moment, there are no security boxes available for FLEX-S yet.

Also it says I can update firmware from my home ? How do I do that

To update the firmware version of your FLEX G-36, it will prompt you on your mobile app once we have released a new update.

Your camera will automatically upload the firmware, but I think it prompts you first as you need to make sure your camera has enough battery life left for the upload...
My app doesn't look like that at all...different phone maybe? But I still have all those functions.

It could be the app version on your phone too! Please install the latest mobile app version to check if that helps.

Don’t have that option on either my flex’s or flex’s 36. And I gave the latest version for my app

Hi Matteo! The on-demand option is currently available only for Flex-S.

@@Spypoint ok you would figure it would be for all the flex series. Or at least the flex 36 and flex s being it’s the same camera except for the solar panel
I have nothing but issues with your micro LTE. Called 3 times and got three different answers. Both send photos randomly through the day instead of the set Sync times. You chat on the couldn't understand English and over the phone was worse. I would really appreciate it if you can resolve this issue as I'm extremely disappointed in these
