Simple yet exhaustive lessons in half clutch !! No one ever explained about this phenomenon very simple n understanding in vernacular language! Keep it up & post more such vid🙏

Good drivers use half clutch less, you can control without half clutch, by using appropriate gears. Especially in traffic jams, instead of holding the vehicle with half clutch shift to neutral and hold the vehicle either by foot brake or hand brake depending on the duration. If the car starts moving the clutch has to be released. This is best practice in driving.

I haven't faced stalling or identifying biting point issue on my previous vehicles (ikon, verna & polo) recently switched to Seltos which gives me nightmares while taking hills and other steep road with traffic. If you could check the same with Seltos and provide your inputs it would be great 👍

Good explanation Let me share my experience also. On innova we started to climb nandhi hills and it was huge traffic. So my friend not used brake or hand break. He just maintained by clutch to stay veichle in slope. After 10 mins started smok so we afraid and stopped veichle and came back to normal surface. After 40 mins. No smoke observed. But still we called Toyota assistance. One technician from toyota said it happened because you driven by clutch. So friends we can control veichle by clutch but not so long time. Max 10 mins.

Slow moving traffic u should be in first gear... In 2nd gear, obviously speed will build up and more usage of clutch in slow moving traffic.. If u r getting noise, I think u r pressing the accelerator when the clutch is fully pressed.. At the point of releasing the clutch, u should press the accelerator

That's because of your gear is not suitable for that speed which u are driving, so when you have to move the vehicle in below 20 km speed just swift your gear to 1st then select 2nd

You can use in 2nd gear. Down slop have to come in full release for slow speed

Very good explanations.

Very good video! Especially needed when exiting the basement parking in malls when there is a traffic jam on the way up. The slope is also very high and cannot go backwards due to other cars behind. Still a bit tricky to do it without getting the engine off in steep slopes and needs practice. What do you suggest here to prevent the engine from turning off?

Hand brake method is the best method but it needs some practice... At the point of disengaging the handbrake, have the clutch in biting point and press the accelerator like u do it in 1st gear ...having your clutch in biting point for more time, will burn your clutch
