Hello. I've seen it and let's try this. UNZIP your downloaded zip as you've already done. Then import the desired .CSV file from your extracted files. If that doesn't works, check out this link: stackoverflow.com/a/46988849 If the problem persists, please comment back. We'll sort it out.

It will not be shown if the folder you've added is already initialised with Git. If it is a brand new folder from scratch without a trace of Git in it, then you'll be asked for such a prompt like I got. Hope that answers your question. Let me know.

@Yasmine Dwedar Try doing this. Configure the error message by clicking the configure button on error popup. Under version control, you can either update the directory path already there, like drive C/... to your desired path or just delete the old path and make a new one with your D/... path. This way studio will now have updated path of your project. Tell me if that works.

Hello, actually only 1 account can be used at a time. It works like a 1 to 1 mapping from your GitHub desktop to GitHub website, that's why. If you want to use another account, sign-in with the new account on the desktop. Welcome to the channel.

Hello. If you have already tried every way of solving that, there's ONE way. Go to Desktop app and create a NEW REPO on your Hard-disk. Once the new one is made, paste all your existing files (**EXCEPT .gitignore) in the new repo folder and then try it. The idea is to make a new repo and add your existing files in it. Please revert back if it works or you need more of my help.

@@adityajadhav5353 What files are you having in existing code? DO one thing. Make a Readme.md file from scratch inside a folder. Go to Desktop app and choose 'Create repo from hard disk' option. Upload the new folder you just made and then try to make changes to that readme.

Sorry friend, according to the official GitHub docs you MUST have a 64-bit OS for running this application. Check here: help.github.com/en/desktop/getting-started-with-github-desktop/installing-github-desktop So I think it won't work in 32-bit. Also, I'll see to it if there's a way to this problem.

Try to clone the repo after that, remove it and clone another repo (you will have a problem in this case)

after clicking on open repository in githud in your browser,...It is showing error

Your hard work put in making the content will pay off someday. But there tons of git extensions available for Vscode providing more features than this application, why should one pick this over those, your comments on this?

Absolutely it is paying off. So see, if you go to the time at which this video was made, around March 2020, there weren't as many VSCODE plugins as useful as you can see today. There were some, which I might not be aware of but truly speaking it was an experiment with this application which provided me a feeling of using the GitHub Website. This application is also very responsive in terms of changes and the UI is very clean and self-explanatory. I think that's why I chose this application to try something new. But be aware that I use VSCODE GitHub extensions along with this app, for the best performance. Check my latest GitHub Extensions video to know more.
