Garmin Dealer here, your “forward view” setup in incorrect. You are going to want to have the transducer at a 45 degree angle. You also have it backwards. The transducer cable is the back of the transducer and it points outward from that. Feel free to shoot us a message for any other questions. Your picture will DRASTICALLY improve. The fish you were seeing seemed to just be interference.

The fish were not interference they were fish been doing it this way the whole time same with the guys I fish with. Interesting maybe it works both ways. Haven’t had a problem doing it this way and I like it not 45 but just right under 90 but I’ll try that way thanks
That was me in the otter tent behind ya. My lady wanted to do a quick outing so we came and it was empty. Limited on 10's and 11's.
Thank U for for the schooling. Hopefully one day I'll be able to afford one, but when I do, I'll now what to do

What size auger do you have and what size drill? I have a milwaukee drill which does great with a 6 inch auger but struggles with my 8" auger.
How do you know which way you are pointing? Your handle doesn't seem lines up.

I have it set a different way than most people so I can do a full 360 without switching hands. It points to the right when the handle is straight.

You need an 8 with livescope, 6 is too small and won’t fit

I have a dark hat and my red one is my fishing one how can you sign the dark onej try to find a white one but they had nun
You got that ducer on way wrong for forward, watch some other vids, otherwise good stuff
