Hello, thank you for the helpful reference! I've never dyed my hair before but I thought to give this brand a try since I heard that foam dyes are less damaging to your hair. Would you say that it would be possible to dye just the ends of your hair using these types of dyes? I am looking to try a sort of gradient style.

Hi Tina! I’m glad you find this helpful. To be quite honest, I’ve never used this dye for gradient styles so I can’t give any advice on this. However, I can testify that foam dye is definitely easier to use than cream dye 😊

The color stayed for 3-4 months. It depends on how often you wash and how quickly your hair grows out. I don’t recommend saving the opened bottle for later. Thanks for watching!

Hi! My hair didn’t feel dry afterwards. It also didn’t wash out too quickly for me. In terms of damage, I think any dye product would damage your hair even if it doesn’t feel like it afterwards because it’s all strong chemicals that alter the way that your hair is naturally.

I have a question! Will this effect my hair that has two different colors ? My virgin black roots on top of my head and a hit of ombré of lil dark ash brown that starts from the end of the dark black and is ash brown to my ends. Basically 1/2

Hi! I always dye my hair when the old dye has somewhat grown out. My roots would be black and half way down, the hair would be the lighter dye colour. What I do is I start to dye the roots first and then work my way down to the lighter colour, assuming that the original black hair takes a longer time to be coloured. I’m not an expert and this method sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t.

Hi so the rinse off treatment packet, do I use my regular shampoo first and then that ??

Hi Selena, no don’t use shampoo to wash off the dye. Rinse with water and then after dye is completely washed off, use the treatment packet.

That’s right. Go into the shower. Wash off dye with just water. Use rinse off treatment and let it stay on for maybe 2-3 minutes. Rinse off.

We should wash our hair clear before dyeing, shall we sister? ❤️

Hi! I have always dyed my hair without washing because apparently the oils help to protect against irritation caused by the dye.

Hi Mimi. I’m sad to say the dye didn’t last too long. I typically wash my hair every other day because my hair gets oily really easily. The color started changing into this brassy color after maybe 5 washes? I didn’t use any conditioner for color-treated hair and I think the color might have lasted longer if I did. Another thing that might help is purple shampoo.

I’m not an expert but after dyeing your hair, I recommend staying out of the pool for at least two weeks. That’s because even when you’re showering at home, the colour continues to get washed out in the first few washes. It might be worse with the bleach in the pool.

Hi! Nope, I didn’t use shampoo. After I rinsed off the product, I went straight to the conditioner packet. I left it in for a few minutes and then rinsed off again.
