Why sometimes lamp light yellow? First it’s was Red. But now it’s yellow(((

This tone and probe has 2 different sounds it can make. One is red and one is yellow.

nice video, I have a rookie question..when you detect the wire... is that when the device makes the beeping sound??

Yes sir. And the closer you get to the wire the louder it will get.

@@ElectricianToolDeals thanks for the response. Also IF I was to use this device to test an ethernet cable and trace it back to the patch panel, do I need to remove the rj45 connector on the cable first so I can plug the wire on the device?? or I can just put the device on the ethernet cable

@@mrb326 I would remove the rj45 and clip the red and black leads to any 2 wires. You should be able to trace it then. The connector on this device is a male. Therefore you would need a female to plug it into

@@mrb326 If you don't want to cut off the connector, you could rig up an RJ45 jack with some bare wires as an adapter.

You need to be a little more excited about the subject when you're speaking🎉
