Just to echo what @kyle bannor said; You need to go to options, air battle and turn ***"targets cyclic switching of aircraft radar"*** OFF. You will not see the DC cursor otherwise.

1: how do you make the aircraft on radar circles mine are rectangles

im got the f14 in the live server and the radar is so bad i cant get kills using aim-7F due to the radar always losing track or notching the radar i feel the F-14 needs a better radar it should have the best radar in the game since its the F-14 early or not the f-14 has a really really good radar for its time and thats why iran still uses them because its a great aircraft and it still is

Yeah but the early AWG-9 was not very good compared to other in the near future like on the F-16, and Iran has the F-14B with a far far better radar, and this is the F-14A Early. But it is nerfed very badly in WT and yes I agree it should be the best in game rn besides the EJ Kai.

how different is the new TWS F-14 radar controls compared to say the PD switching with the F4J? im not good with keybinds

Very different

I can get a plane to get a TWS lock (with the like half square thing) but whenever I press the lock radar on target or select target to lock nothing happens. And the bvr mode only goes to 9km so I can’t really use the Phoenix well that close. What am I doing wrong?

Switch 'Relative Control' to Yes in the settings for both Horizontal and Vertical Radar/IRST Target Cue Control Axis

hi, for the irst target cue axis, how do you get it to snap in place? i cant figure out which setting makes it stay in place, when i use it the target keeps on moving in the direction it was moving, it wouldn't stay in place. it is very finicky and annoying to use

you need to add relative control or turn off target cyclic in aircraft options.

@@Minutemman yea, i have those options set correctly, but when i use my arrows keys i set up the targeting box on my radar just continues in the direction i pressed it. in your video it stops and you cna be exact with its movements, how did you get it to do that?

@@haddyii20 glad I could help! I’ve actually switched cyclic back on because I find cycling targets at for lock range with the sparrows more important that precise yeeting with the Phoenix in TWS.

I’m having a lot of issues with getting vertical scan and boresight mode to work when in bvr modes please tell me how to get that working it’s so frustrating I can get it working in acm and get vertical scan and stuff but when in bvr hitting change search mode it literally changes the angle of the radar horizontally WHYYYYY

it is bugged now, from what I can see rn, just go to TWS mode and hover the cursor over the target and lock him up and fire.
