This X1 is a nice piece of kit for those who posted negative comments. It’s better in person , well built, the whole encoders are so sleek and the knobs are the best I have ever used …I have to see how I can work this into my S4 MK3 setup , I see Traktor moving in a good direction slowly but surely, is there a stand any time soon ? And stems let’s goo!

Thanks for the return of the tempo bend button, the touch grid on mk2 is so awkward I even preferred to use sync XD

This is an amazing tool for an intermediate or advanced user. Even if you don't own a Traktor DJC you can use this with any controller with Traktor mapping. Though the cost looks steep if you consider that it is available with Traktor Pro 3 and a 50 dollars disc, at around 250 USD, it is good value.

How do we use the filter knob in the mixer section? I don’t even see a configuration option if I try to use generic midi to assign it to a midi controller?

When will you guys fix the flashing screens on the traktor s4 mk3?

$300 for this is absolute insanity. Not sure why you need the screens when this thing has to be plugged into a laptop anyway. I'm not price sensitive at all, but $300 is wild.

The screens are quite nice because I can see all the FX information on the X1. I don't have any room on my laptop screen for FX because I use 4 decks parallel. I don't have to change the screen layout to view the FX. It's also pleasant to see the looping & beat jump info on the controller instead of staring at the computer.

Dude I just got mine on sale from Sam Ash since they are closing and it was 211 total. I can easily say that it’s worth the $300, at least for the way I dj. The look, feel and intuitiveness of this controller makes me feel like I won’t need something for a long while

As in, synced to traktor and jamming alongside two decks with the X1? I think I can do that...

I like the big, classic USB ports. I can't imagine having to rely on those flimsy USB type C ports in a live setting, especially after a few years of wear and tear.

100 per cent. The X1 MK3 features USB B port because we believe it provides the most stable connection.

Such a cool controller, I'm ready to take the plunge. Is there a simple way to connect my Maschine mk3 with the X1 to play my own samples/beats and control them through X1 with effects? This would be the ultimate setup!

I'm loving my X1 mk3 & have been a Traktor fan for 10 years. This video has a lot of information on hidden features that is not included in the manual that, uhh, doesn't come with the controller. Is there a way to make the tempo adjustment more sensitive than 0.1%? That way we could play without using sync. I have a Xone K2 mapped for jogwheels. My 13 year old Pioneer DDJ-T1 controller has tempo adjust sensitivity of 0.02% & it was made for Traktor.

i just received mine yesterday and I have an issue with blinking/flashing screens. I am using traktor on a windows pc? what is wrong?

I’m tempted by these I loved the x1 mk2 & kinda regret selling mine. Interested to know what else is the pipeline from NI perhaps a new version of the F1 or a 4 channel mixer would work I think I’d sell my xdj rx2 for a cool modular set up 🤔😁

I would like to see more on the X1 using it with the Maschine MK3...

Did I miss something? I am wondering about controlling the secondary MIXER row - specifically the Filter on/off and freq. I would like to control the gain, filter, key and pan with the main four knobs/buttons. Can you explain a bit more about this? I can activate MIDI mode but I see no obvious way to learn the mappings.

Is traktor getting stems and tidal streaming?

Does anyone know if there is gain control and filter knob control?

Just give me a Z1 with 4 channels, or make it possible to use 2 Z1 next to each other for 4 channels... It's possible to use 2 X1's but then you still need a big bulky 4 channel mixer, which kills the mobility of the X1 (and switching to the mixer on the new X1 is a nice feature but not the go-to, maybe for some "ultra light" setup, but not for general use)

I find it unfortunate that the use of only "4 cue points" is sold... are we going backwards? in the "in action" part of the video it should be called "No action" :( "boring mode active) zzzzz zzz Do you know that rekordbox together with xp2 allows 16 cue points? Something very useful for turntablism or finger drumming. 💔

How do i re map the Kontroller X1 Mk3 to my custom functioon. it seems X1MK3 is not able send midi message to traktor in LEARN midi mode in control panel. I found a lot of difficultuies to find out. Never happen wih MK2 or first X1 - please if you know how to ew assign function please help

How do you fade in and out for a good mix? I understand using the eqs for that but shouldn't they have made that easier, like maybe keep the strip they had on the mk2.. Looks like a good product but not worth changing from the s4mk3.

Can you connect this controller to a pioneer mixer?

How can I map to have master tempo mapped to a button. For example I want to have master tempo mapped to Shift + Nudge buttons. So when I run Traktor + Abelton live I can change the master tempo and everything is in sync. Without touching the computer.

How can you access the 5-8 hotcues ?

Is there a way to move to deck c and d on this? Also with the effects. Can you set the buttons to only stay on when you press. And turns of when you release the button. I can do it on my midi mix.

I managed to set the fx buttons to hold rather than toggle. But cant change to decks c and d. I got the Z1 aswell. But not sure if its possible.

Can I beatjump an inactive loop ahead of the track, in a live situation, without stopping or skipping the music?

If you'd like to change how the mixer section works by MIDI mapping, there are no mapping possibilities other than the ones available on the Traktor preferences unfortunately. However, this might be possible in the future so please keep an eye out!

Any bug with the Loop Cue function and remember loop? It's not working at all!

I wish it had an audio out and headphone jack for cueing . No touch strip either , i really think the reloop mixtour is much better then this .

Very good gear but I find very disappointing that it doesn't work as audio interface and even worse there is no output for headphones. Where should I listen in Cue???

I have now 2 psc Mk3 for controlling 4 decks. And I must say it's weird to kontroll the effects to the different decks... I can't figure out how to get them to work like the older mk2. Anyone know how?

Umm. Why is this controller not compatible w Traktor DJ for Ipad? What year is this? This unit still does NOT replace my Z1 and X1. It looks great but its gimmicky to me.

Please do not abandon MASCHINE ! Update the plugins and missing features : Pitch stretch in samplers and graphic amplitude envelope in the samplers it 's 2023/24 we need to be up to date with others : FL had 3 major updates ! WTH NI ?

They ruined the loop move and beatjump. Before I was able to move the loop by any amount I need regardless of the length of the loop but now you can only move the loop by the same length of the loop itself example: If your loop is 4 beats and you try to move it, it will jump by 4 beats. And if your loop is 8 beat and you try to move it, it will jump by 8 beats. before we could move the loop by one beat or two beats regardless of the length of the loop😞 anyone has a solution for this!?

Hmm.. everything about X1 MK3? I still do not know how to change witch deck is selected to left and right side. I am used Google and read you manuals. Watched this video and you still don't tell most important think how to get Deck A to left side and Deck B to right side. I am used about 2 hours everything I can and still not find right answer for my question anywhere.

When you plug the controller in, it should automatically let you select which deck is on the left and which deck is on the right, but glad to hear you were able to resolve it using a Setup Wizard now! We'll check your video out 👀

it never occurs to people that djing is a thing of the past, producer performances are the new tbing kids. producers spend enough hassle making productions without having to worry about hotcue buttons and other useless crap. i still want to know more about the pattern player, where are the sounds located, can i load my own samples?

@@DeeJayEndo im on M1, NI on NATIVE ACCESS there already says that we are sorry at the moment we are working/testing coz some programs doesn’t work This is since my new M1 it’s for few months Updates and sounds did work but now again failed it’s really frustrating I do regret buying KOMPLETE 13 ULTIMATE it was lot of money for nothing!!

Always been a fan of Traktor controllers. I personally own a pair or X1 Mk2, a pair od D2 and an F1. This new product seems just a little too overpriced for what your getting. I'm worried that Native Instruments is moving more and more toward a direction like Apple products, where instead of coming up with something really innovative like the S8 was years ago, they go for a redesign of products that already work by actually duplicating the price. This product does not innovate anything in djing, it looks great but that's it.

And what happen to a dedicated filter knob for each deck? Are hi pass and lo pass filters now just in the fx groups? To me filter cutoff is an essential part of a dj mixer

Ein ordentlicher Mixer oder ein Standalone Gerät wie bpsw. PIONEER Rx3 wäre brauchbarer, extrem viele Dj's sind genau deshalb zu Rekordbox Serato und Denon gewechselt weil 0 Hardware kommt
