This results in too much water and you will get mushy or wet rice and think it is not done. Just use the included cup for both rice and water, or your own measuring cup for rice and water according to your package directions. It will come out fine. I've used mine for years for brown and white rice. If your machine is bubbling white froth out of the steam vent then it means you should have rinsed your brand of rice first to remove some of the starch. Sheesh. Makes me wonder how people can cook well enough to feed themselves.

This is good for students who live in studio apartments .. Other wise i DONT see a difference in cooking the same in a kadai or a rice cooker.. You still have to stay the same amount of time to cook all these dishes.. But to cook rice you dont have to be present there until the rice is cooked

If you want yellow colored rice every time, then do exactly as the lady tells you. Use a electric rice cooker to make Dal Makhani, Chick Tikka Masala, Pav Bhaji etc. That will leave a permanent yellow coating inside the rice cooker. You will get yellow colored rice. DO NOT use a separate utensil to make curries....🤤

Yes ...the lid is different....I'm giving you example ....if you cook rice in pressure cooker it takes 10 to 12 minutes time....if you cook Rice in any other open pot it takes 15 to 20 minutes time....and when we cook rice in this Electric Rice Cooker it take 15 to 20 minutes time.....so yes it take 10 to 12 minutes extra time....👍😊

I mistakenly bought 1 litre rice cooker by pegion. Which is too big for a single person. If anybody wants it for 3 4 people and lives in new delhi..... I'm willing to either exchange with smaller one or sell it at negotiable price. I just purchased it and it arrived on 13th april 2023....perfect condition but big size for me.

Rice cooker Har 10 to 15 minutes mein warm par chale jata hai….. apko apni recipe banate wakt dhyan toh dena hi padega…. Or auto cut hota toh hai…. But we have to check after some time…..recipe Thik se cook nahi hui hai toh Hume cooker ko fir on karna hoga….

Jab hum kuch saute karte hai to warm mode pe rakhna hai ya cook mode pe hi?

While cooking please keep checking… it’s on cook mode or warm mode …. Because while cooking sometimes it automatically switch on warm mode …… and if you will not switch it on cook … you can’t cook anything….. please first check it while cooking ……. But if after switch on cooking mode it’s still not working then there is some internal problem….. 👍
