Being a DIsney Photopass photographer for about 3 years now... I now love having the MaxPass.... i used to have a couple of fastpasses in my pocket to give to kids who I thought could use...... so now I can just pull my phone out and send the parents a fastpass.... ITS SOOOO MUCH FUN!!!!

Definitely trying this out! I love the fact that a lot of the fastpass return time are so close. Also, that you can get another one RIGHT after redeeming the first one! So excited to try it out because when I go back in September, we're only going to have one day to spend so I'm excited to see how much more we can do with MaxPass!

When I originally heard about the max pass, I was like yeah I'll try it out. After seeing this video, I am so much more excited to visit, we spend a lot of time waiting on rides or jumping out of lines that we waited 45 mins in for rides that we haven't been on because of our Fast Pass. Having the ability to reserve and cancel Fast Passes for both parks will be so much easier on us! We try to get on as many rides as we can and this will definitely help. The other thing is we love seeing our photos with characters and from rides but they're really pricey to get them all so having that with the max pass as a digital download is even better for me/preferable.

First of all your hair is GOALS and its also giving me some Mal vibes lol. It seems like basically the fast pass + system at WDW except theres still some paper being wasted however from what I heard, in general most fast passes are pretty much right away like what you experienced. Is it still difficult to get Radiator Springs and Guardians I wonder? Will it be gone like noon still?

I have used this once and it works great!! I was able to schedule a fast pass then scan my annual pass so I could keep my phone safely in my backpack

What are your thoughts on the "Galactic Infinity Pass" that Disney wants to roll out in 2025? It would cost $204 per person on top of the cost of an admission ticket, but would allow the person to skip any line for any ride any amount of times. I think it's interesting but I wonder if people would actually go for it.

Thanks for the demo, Tiff! I love the convenience, especially with not having to park hop to get a fastpass. I cannot wait to use it! But I guess you gotta make sure you bring an external battery cuz if your phone dies, you're screwed haha! Two things: Can book a fastpass ahead of time (like in WDW) or do we have to wait until our tickets are scanned at the gate before reserving? And do these work for shows (I'm assuming no as I did the Fantasmic fastpass and it was the same way we've always done where you turn in your ticket)?

Rocky Manzon II Your paper ticket is a backup to book and works the same way, though you lose the ease of skipping the physical distribution kiosks. You CANNOT book in advanced. You must be in the parks. I believe for shows you still go to the physical kiosk, but that was something I didn't get to test.

Hi Tiff. Your belief is correct, according the the Disney AP Facebook page. They confirmed "entertainment" fastpasses (like World of Color or Fantasmic) are not included with MaxPass and you have to get these the old fashioned manual kiosk way. :)

I used maxpass for the last two days. Being Australian we needed to rely on the parks wifi, which is very very spotty. I needed to keep an eye on the time we could grab a new one then head to a wifi spot. If the wifi doesn't work sometimes the pre selected fast pass would not load, so I would screen shot on my phone. It's worth it for the free photo downloads. Cheaper than a park hopper if you only have two days and want to ride all the major rides.

Wait, this is actually really cool! You actually convinced me tiff! I thought you had to wait longer to get another fast pass! You can get one right away with the max pass! The thing is my pass is linked to my sisters Disney account because she used to be an AP. Now that she isn't my pass is still linked to hers. When I try to link it to my account it says that it's linked to another account. I'm scared that if I remove it from her account something will happen to my AP!! I really want the max pass system but I'm not able to because my pass isn't linked to my account!!

I was at Disneyland last September (2018) with Max Pass and it was the best decision I've ever made, well worth the extra $10 per day. I booked my first Fast Pass right as I entered the park and was able to redeem it almost right away. When I was in line after redeeming the Fast Pass I was able to get another Fast Pass that I could redeem immediately after I got off the current attraction I was riding. Once in line for that ride I booked another Fast Pass that I could redeem immediately after getting off the current attraction I was riding. I was able to keep this up for most of the day, but there was that one time I had to come back an hour later to redeem my Fast Pass for Space Mountain.

We're going next week and want to know if I can purchase the Max pass with already having my tickets on paper from printing out from my computer. Is there a special spot on the Disney website that I can just purchase that separate without having to do it at the park when we get there

Hello, thanks for the information very clear and useful, but I have a question. How do you get a FAST PASS if you use a shuttle service form a hotel and thus, have no parking ticket?

I really like the fact that I have the option of adding the max pass to my annual pass, and only for $75 for the whole year? That's a really good deal if you go once a week like I do😊

Hi Ana. Not sure about special events, but one thing everyone should know is that MaxPass is not available for "Entertainment" fast passes, such as World of Color or Fantasmic. You still have to obtain these at the kiosks in person. Just FYI.

Went on july 26 2017 to Disneyland(in town for one day visit only) and got a Max pass... one max pass for the whole party (we wanted to get a bunch of group pictures so they were included) My wife had the maxpass on her name so we used her app to spy out fastpass times to pick rides, then just got paper tickets for everyone. It worked great so we could line up time slots and get our pics for the whole family. According to the pamphlet they hand out it is the same pool of fastpasses. i think we ended up doing 5 or 6 fast pass rides.

You scan all of the tickets into the app, then they are all linked and you can make reservations for every ticket linked. Both of your apps can have the entire party linked so you can take turns making FP reservations on whichever device you'd like- they will be linked!

How do you download photos? I have my pass linked and have MaxPass with it but when I go to download photos it wants me to pay. Please help.

does it include the photo downloads? like without the watermark?

I have a three day hopper...can I purchase a MaxPass the first day for all three days or do I have to do it each day?

TheDisneyQueen93 Since you will get a comp ticket when you sign-in, I believe you'll always have to link the ticket then purchase your MaxPass day if for the $10/day. Since DLR doesn't have the same Main Gate CM passes that are always connected like WDW, that would be the CM solution.

so if i have a max pass how many people in my party can i get fast passes for?

Would you still be able to use the Disney app for FP if you don't have maxpass?

is there a limit for party members to be registered in the max pass?

Initially I thought Maxpass was a half baked idea, where Disneyland didn't decide to fully commit to an Electronic system(still using the paper pass as a solely as a reminder instead switching to the app completly) and decided to charge a "premium" on an idea implemented for free at WDW. While I do still think it is strange to pay, I have to say it isn't nearly as terrible as I thought based off your vid. I'm not currently concerned with a large party (like a family paying $10 for each member) but the $75 off the hip for the pass upgrade isn't nearly as steep as I thought, especially if you don't have photopass included.

Will fast passes be available for WOC or other night time shows on the max pass app?

Isabella Medina as of right now the maxpass doesn't work for Fantasmic and World Of Color. For those u would have to actually walk to a kiosk.
