If you just want to chat on discord while playing, it's easier to put wireless headset dongle in the laptop/pc and connect 3.5mm from controller to same headset. That way you will get both chat and ps5 sounds. At least it's a cheaper option that will work for some.

Yes I left links to 2 free methods for voice chat and sharing gameplay at the end :) Their biggest problem is they either have a compromise in quality or add latency.

How's the new PS+? I got Premium, it may have some issues at first, but the catalogue of games are good enough to enjoy playing on console

I think it's really good too actually. Personally, it doesn't necessarily suit me for the most part (I prefer to own games, I don't really like game pass style subs for that and many other downsides) but I 100% see the value and love it for it allowing me to play games that I otherwise probably wouldn't buy. I appreciate the inclusion of classic games too, got a lot of nostalgia from Jak & Daxter and the Toy Story 2 game aha. I think it is something that's really gonna change how a lot of PS gamers choose what to play next, and for the price, you can't really complain. I mean heck, it has a lot more games than game pass and is cheaper on a yearly subscription. Only thing it's missing is day and date PS releases, but I'd argue that's better for the quality of the games :)

Theoretically speaking, you could use any capture card for this, correct?

You could do this exact method with a phone for the voice chat if you used an app for connecting a USB camera to your phone, and then connected your headset to your phone. It's just a lot more awkward. For now, try watching the videos I link at the end and try those methods, then decide on whether you think you should do it with the NJ300 instead :)

@@Octorious I have a headache, so sorry if I misunderstand what you said. Do I need a pc to adjust and in general use the Narvitech nj300? I’ll be sure to check the videos you added in the end later. Not sure how I would connect my headset to my phone either, again, kind of having a headache right now, so I’ll check later to see if I understand better then.

@@hawkeyeyt2198 To summarise then, you could technically use your phone for this same method but it would be much more complex. If you have a laptop anywhere you can borrow for it, I'd recommend that significantly more than a phone.

Found much cheaper capture card that works in the same way as well as advertised for using it for pc and ps4/5 at same time. It’s called the (HSV320).
