    Interesting. Now I hate waste :) Would the waste blue fabric be the same size as the cut background pieces - so maybe could be used in another block?

    Deb Tucker rulers have been out for years before Creative Grids designed their own.

    Can this ruler be used for making the hummingbird, periwinkle or kite quilt pattern? I want to buy only one special ruler to make any of these quilt patterns.

    I believe that it will work for kite block, not sure about the other two. It looks like the same as the center of a hummingbird block or periwinkle.
