Unfortunately, I have sensitive and dry skin and the pills do not leave me, especially on the chin area, my cerave blemish cleanser, and I use snail mucin csrx and sunscreen from la roche posay spf50 and I started to use lactic acid 10%

Hello! The first question is why should I apply moisturiser after the gel? Isn't it a moisturizing gel?? Secondly, is it meant to be sticky on my face or am I taking too much?? Thx

No, you do not have to use a moisturizer after applying the gel. It's perfectly fine to use the gel on its own. If you find that it feels sticky on your skin, try using a smaller amount.

I really love the spelling of the brands, as this would be the correct pronunciation. Lol, English is so messed up. It really needs a reform. But the best course of action might be to visit a local doctor. Have you considered that? Or have you already seen one? Additionally, which cleanser do you use? Do you have the COSRX product with snail mucin? Also, which sunscreen are you using? Could you provide the names of these products and describe your skin type?

The 'Resurfacing Retinol Serum' and the 'Skin Renewing Retinol Serum' are potential options. Retinol is often used for acne as well as for anti-aging benefits.

Using the cleanser and gel in the same routine could lead to sensitivities or irritations over time. Therefore, it's best to use either one of them or the Blemish Control Cleanser in the AM and a non-exfoliating acid cleanser (like CeraVe Foaming Cleanser) and Blemish Control Gel in the PM. Additionally, you may need to adjust the frequencies depending on your skin tolerance. kzread.info/dash/bejne/f4ucvLZsccSbeNI.htmlsi=vb8aPD1ca2lPI7yO As for your acne, these products may help to reduce it. However, if the root cause comes from within, such as not tolerating something you eat which causes inflammation in your gut and subsequently leads to breakouts on your forehead, then it's important to address these issues as well.

@@CTM-ks2bw What medication do you take? Since when have you been following the routine you've mentioned above? Your Blemish Acne/Control Cleanser contains 2% Salicylic Acid (BHA), as does the gel + AHA (Glycolic Acid and Lactic Acid). Salicylic, Glycolic, and Lactic Acid are all exfoliating acid ingredients. Of course, the pH and strength of the exfoliating acids, as well as the entire product formulation, matter, along with your skin tolerance. Still, I wouldn't overdo it. As for your Treclin Gel, it contains Tretinoin + Clindamycin. Tretinoin is a Retinoid and can already, on its own, cause dryness and irritation, especially when combining it with exfoliating acids. However, the strength, your skin tolerance, and frequency of use matter as well. Usually, Tretinoin gives a delayed response; meaning you won't notice irritation right away, but it can easily occur after a week of daily use.

@@MelissaVanDijkOfficial The moisturizer is NIVEA's soft moisturizing cream. My skin used to be kinda acne-prone but ever since i started cleaning my face i barely get any acne or pimples in general and yes my skin is oily.

Ok, now based on what you have listed, you have two products containing 2% Salicylic Acid. I recommend using just one of them, either your Salicylic Acid Tonic or the Blemish Control Gel. Additionally, I believe that using NIVEA's Soft Moisturizing Cream might be too rich for your oily skin. Instead, I recommend considering a gel-type moisturizer such as The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + Beta Glucan, Neutrogena's Hydro Boost Gel, or Geek & Gorgeous Hydration Station. AM: Cleanser Niacinamide Toner (Optional) Gel-Type Moisturizer Sunscreen PM: Cleanser Salicylic Acid Toner or Gel Gel-Type Moisturizer

Probably because of the AHA exfoliant. How long does it last? If it doesn't last that long, give your skin some time to adjust to the product. You may not want to use it daily immediately. Start with three times per week to give your skin some breaks in between.

I think that keeping it simple would be best. Cleanse the area with a regular foaming cleanser, like CeraVe Foaming Cleanser, and then apply the gel. Alternatively, you could just take your usual shower and apply the gel to the affected area afterward. Ultimately, it's a good idea to test and see what works best for you.

Nobody knows, but they are meant to be left on the skin overnight and then rinsed off the next day. As far as I know, there are no studies showing the exact amount of time it needs to work. But I would probably give it at least 30-60 minutes to be sure.

The Blemish Control Cleanser contains 2% Salicylic Acid, whereas their gel contains 2% Salicylic Acid and AHA (Lactic and Glycolic Acids). However, the percentage of AHA is not specified. AHA is great for working on the skin surface and fading dark spots. However, some people experience stinging when using an AHA - mainly Glycolic Acid.

@@sinandemir7453 Do you only use that cleanser, or do you use anything else as well? Some people claim that the skin can go through a purging period, which can last a bit over a month; after that, it should calm down. However, if that's not the case, I recommend stopping the use of the product. Also, is this the first time you are using a Salicylic Acid-based product? How much acne did you have before using the cleanser?
