I was running this saw for about 2 hours at about a 30-50% duty cycle kzread.infoUgkxfQm1wmg0ItKDLavxj1nXtQY9HP7EF504 and it did a great job. I used the lever for the built in sharpener to clear chip buildup out more than to actually sharpen the chain. It managed to cut some hardwood stumps much larger than it's size without bothering the neighbors with hours of 2 stroke noise.

Just got my first chainsaw a Husqvarna 236 which is nice and have spent some time reading the manual, and reading it and reading it but your videos have been excellent in filling in the gaps and confirming just how to operate the saw. Many many thanks.

I hope Lowes keeps uploading helpful videos like this instead of the "hypermade" ones that are a complete waste of time..

Looks like quite some time to sharpen ALL those little blades. Did he say anything about oiling the blades? Thanks.

It’s the same thing as the gas one except all the engine stuff you don’t need to do.

One of the better intro vids I've seen. But, none of my saws have a "blade". Each has a chain mounted on its guide bar. Wright reciprocating saws from back when, do have blades.

Why would you do that?

You lost me with that shot of an entire tree being taken down by just a cut at the base. That is seriously dangerous. I came here looking for advice on maintaining a smaller (handheld) chainsaw that I just bought. I have no experience with these things but we've had enough trees removed here by professionals for me to know the safe way to take down a tree that size. And that's not it. Based on that, I don't trust anything else you're going to say. Very disappointing, coming from Lowe's.

It’s a 2 second clip from a video Lowe’s did about how to properly cut down/fell a tree. All the CORRECT steps are taken in that video and the video is longer than this one. How about you chill and not pretend to be offended for internet points, eh??
