How to use a TV for PHOTOGRAPHY

Use your TV as a background! I love taking pictures outside, but sometimes it's not possible or can be difficult. One popular tool is using a TV or monitor to display a background. Here's how I use my tv as a background for my photography.
I love sharing toy photography tips and tricks and enjoy answering tutorial requests, so feel free to leave any ideas in the comment section.

    Polarizing film on your light and on your lens will cancel each other out from reflecting. You’ll have to rotate the lens filter until it sinks up with the light film.🤙

    Great video Matt! I'm sooo glad you brought up the topic of Googling photos to use as backgrounds. I'm 100% with you on this. That's other people's hard work and art and I just wouldn't feel right using in my work. Like you mention, unless you pay for it (stock) or find it on a free stock website, then it's a different story. For me, I keep a growing collection of skies and backgrounds that I shoot myself, or nowadays I'm starting to use AI Gen fill to create my own "stock" backdrops for composites or to put on a TV backdrop (which I don't honestly do that often but should more). Excellent video as always Matt. Keep up the awesome work! 🍻

    Good advice my friend. One more thing you can try that I'll do sometimes is to use AI to generate a background. I'll use it for some props to fill up space sometimes too. or to create foreground elements to create depth if I don't have anything else. Take care bro!

    Do you have to be careful about taking images of the toys themselves with copyright?

  • @amusingking

    @amusingking

    3 ай бұрын

    If they are just pictures and you’re posting normally, then no issues at all. Where it gets tricky is if you try to sell stuff. When labeling photos for sale, not using official names is important. Like instead of Obi Wan say Magic Knight. As far as using photos for advertisement, that’s another area to be careful with. I’m not too familiar with exact laws, but the toy photography community is huge and taking pics of characters non stop. Not sure if that fully answers your question. Let me know 👍🏼
