How to Use a Turkey Mouth Call
Спорт
This is a "How To" on using a diaphragm call for Turkeys. We cover how to Yelp, Cluck, Cut, Excited Yelp, and Purr (see shortcuts below). We have a link to a video where I called a hen in to 5 yards using the cluck, and a link to a video where an actual turkey hen is Clucking, Purring, Cutting, and Yelping. This is one of the toughest turkey calls to learn how to use, and I am still constantly practicing...give this a try!

It’s a great way to learn. They also have a beginners series now that has the single Reed green horn plus a no cut 2 Reed call and a combo cut call so you can work your way up at your own pace. rjdunkin.com/shop

You may be dropping it too much which is a common mistake, and one that I did from time to time when shooting this video. Another really helpful hint is to use a single Reed mouth call to get started. They are cheap and don’t have any cuts and reeds won’t stick together so you know you are doing things right (or not). We recommend the STRUTT’N Ridge Greenhorn or Beginners Series. kzread.info/dash/bejne/hJmctLuAZcbVec4.html

You can also consider trimming some of the tape. Do it slowly so it is a better fit for your mouth
I have a double reed v cut and I can't make a high sound

+Sharkson77 try moving your tongue around slightly left and right with high tongue pressure. Different cuts require searching for the sweet spot
