HOW TO USE A TRADITIONAL FLOWER PRESS

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Here at Makebox we love pressing flowers, that's why we designed our very own flower press! Made from Birch wood, which is naturally water resistant and hard. Engraved with our logo bee, this really is the prettiest press!
You can use pressed flowers for SO many projects. Check out our website www.makebox.co/shop to find out more.

I've had this flower press forever that I've literally never used. Today I decided to figure it out. I'm excited to see how they look when done!

Do you have to change the blotter paper every few days? I heard if it gets too wet you need to change it every few days?

Hey! No I don't, I literally leave them for 2 weeks. I wouldn't recommend using very " juicy" flowers. Flowers hold about 85% water so some press better than others. You can actually press bigger flowers successfully in the microwave!

It really depends on what you are pressing. You can cerntaily crush flowers! But on the whole its fine to tighten well.
