    Hi Greg, I would appreciate your opinion on this: - A trainee engineer position for a groundwork and RC frame contractor. Project not very big. Self employed. - A junior engineer position for a surveying company (specialises in as‑built surveys, setting out, control stations, monitoring and 3D laser scanning). Employed position. Which one do you think is a best to start?🙏

    Definitely the first option. Just make sure for how long are both options, as harder times coming and it's good to have something for longer time. Definitely you will be more busy and learn more&quicker with frame contractor - this will also open more doors for you once you get some experience

    @@SITENG thanks for your reply. 🙏 Don't know if you practice such things, but I would be very grateful if we can have a chat about it today or tomorrow when you have free time, as I have to make a decision on it on Monday. I am more than happy to pay you for your time. I worked 4 days for option 1 and 1 day for option 2 this week, but still I feel like I need to discuss it with someone not related to these companies. So if you have time and willing to have a chat I would appreciate it a lot ☺️🙏

    Hi buddy one thing I struggle with is how do you give levels with the prism pole?

  • @SITENG

    @SITENG

    Жыл бұрын

    Better just use reflectorless if you can. If you're using a pole you have to set target height (on the instrument) same as your pole height - it's marked on the pole. I recommend to shoot reflectorless at some point and then set your pole + target height and check the same point - you will see what you have (shouldn't be a big difference if you keep the pole straight)

    @SITENG alright great thanks. Also how do i hold the pole by the pin? Should hold it at the top of pin then tape down or hold it by the side?
