Very impressive. People should rely more in strength then any deadly weapon. I know u showed us the sword. But we basically don't need weapons to gain power. It's better having power in our strength alone. Anyways great job man I love that dedication u got my bro✌️

I would also recommend when drawing the sword from the Saya to keep it close in front of you . If you fail to do so the opponent will have an opening to your wrist and will easily be able to cut off your hand .

Don't forget. The katana is a two handed sword

Yes but not all katanas weigh the same and the length matters too. So the techniques and speed could change because of it.

Very nice and clear. I have a carbon fiber rod. Like a sword same shape, just for practicing befor I try to start spinning a big blade in my hand. Do you think I would be better off buying a katana and just dulling it to practice?

Great question 💯! If you're not going to practice with a katana right now, at least use something that's the same weight as a katana. So that way when you're ready, the difference in weight doesn't throw you off balance. #YouGotThis 🙌🏾

Great question !! 🤔 It's really comes down to preference. I love straight blades. The weight feels more balanced in my opinion.

Very helpful :D but unfortunately I have weak arms and my sword is very heavy and dusty, I tried cleaning it but there’s just more in the metal bit. My sword also doesn’t have a sharp edge because it’s my grandma’s training sword hahahah but it’s better because in scared of cutting myself :,)

Please make another video about sword defense. Also make another video about the Kashka one hand sword. I love the way Russian girls dance with it. (One Kashka salesman on KZread said that a sword fight lasts less than 5 seconds, but I love to see the girls dancing with it for more than 5 minutes. It motivates me to get fit) Hmm... Men also dance with the one handed Kashka sword so I want to see you do it. Off topic.. I think you definitely live alone or that you have the most supporting woman at your side. I now know that one can only grow in the right environment. This means that certain people must not be near me at all in order for me to be at my best all the time. (Some women, like my girlfriend, bring popcorn to bed just before sleeping time and they want to watch a movie! This throws my workout schedule off. I don't even get up to exercise the next morning) Keep leading us.

What about a blade that’s sharp on both sides and also splits into two at the end

you are in great shape and very charismatic. with that said, your swords skills have... quite a lot of room for improvement. what you seem to be doing is stage fighting (flashy moves that are not always practical, but look cool), which is nice, but the title of the video suggests otherwise.

On the other hand, I do teach medieval longsword on a weekly basis (well, when the local regulations about the pandemic allow it) - unfortunatelly that is offline, but I am more than happy to share a promo video of our organisation if you are interested. I have also written a (peer reviewed) 40 page long thesys about how to cut with a sword, for which I can provide a link (unfortunatelly it is in my own language, but there are a lot of pictures included, so you might verify that the thesys is about this subject). In case you require links for any of the above, please answer in a comment and I will provide them ASAP. On the other hand, I am sad that you took my comment as an insult, my intention was not to insult you; but your video title is misleading, you are teaching stage combat, not sword fighting.
