    Great video! I have the Ramset gun. Need the fasteners and loads. Application: secure 2"x2" board to brick piers that support my back deck. Once secured I want to attached lattice to the boards to fill in gap between piers. To do that, based on this video, used the GREEN powder loads with 3" orange fasteners? Thanks!

    Thanks for the Content Bruh. Although ive probably driven 1k of these fasteners over the years ~ I just bought a new .27 cal version & its a good reminder for safety protocols ~ if a 16 can come back at U from a Nail gun.... A Ramset nail could do the same ... its Never Happened to me ~ But my new Tool does have a lot of Kick to it ~ So thanks....

    I'm interested in fastening some simpson L brackets to the 1/4" flange of a large steel I-beam. The brackets would be then be screwed to joists that the beam will support. The brackets will not bear weight, only lateral forces. Would this work for my application?

    I would like to mount 1/2 plywood to a brick interior wall. about 6 or 7 plywood sheets. Can you mount these with pns that wont have the rubber exposed on the pins? I could use tapcons but it would be more painful. thx.

  • @Caliber8Tools

    @Caliber8Tools

    As long as the pin heads are big enough to keep the plywood on the wall.

    As a woman that doesn't know what shes doing... this video was helpful. I was recommend to use one of these to cover the vents in the crawlspace of my home with hardware cloth to keep out rodents. I have 23+ to cover. Any advice?

    A ramset gun is good if you are going to be attaching the cloth to concrete. If you are attaching it to wood use a heavy duty stapler

    You stayed 3" away from the left and right side of the concrete, but not the top and the bottom. Can you elaborate on the restrictions?

  • @Caliber8Tools

    You’re right. I should’ve specified the top and bottom edges. I simply pointed out the left and right edges for the sake of instruction based on the prop I used. Good catch.

    Same spacing to top and bottom. Fasteners should always be at least 3 inches apart.

    What about using it to fasten thin material to a concrete block wall? I'm guessing the fastener would penetrate the wall. Is that okay?
