Oh no!
I think that the auger bit need to be redesigned. Adding vertical soil cutter on the outside diameter of the bit will make boring easier and make the hole trully circle. It will cut any root, no more shaking than.

Aqui el unico detalle es cuando ya esta la cerca parada con alambres puestos cuesta barrenar un hoyo. Por que los alambres no te dejan trabajar. Pero en si es ragular.

Hola: he probado esta maquina en suelo muy duro (arcilla compactada) y la verdad que hay que ayudarla un poco, ya sea picando el fondo del poso con la pala o humedeciendo la tierra a medida que se profundiza el hoyo. Podes mirar el video aqui: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aIOZo9Gdhq2upZM.html

mayb the soil is too hard, use a shovel to break soil a bit and run machine at full throttle, also make sure the augur bit is going clockwise.

I was thinking of buying one of the BAUMR 80cc models. Im not sure how effective they are on hard or clay soil. I'm also worried its a 'no name ' Chinese brand , so spare parts and repairers are probably non existent.

You can get them for around US$200 in Australia, it would cost $100 to rent one for a day, and 5 times that to hire someone. Still the cheapest option if you've got a dozen or more holes to dig

That soil is the softest I have ever seen - you could dig it out with a teaspoon. Probably not the most realistic test for the machine !

These things will rip your arms off, very poor design with the safety stop, there should be a clutch on the spindle but there's just a bar that'll run into and stop it but typically by the time it stops youre already staring at your severed fingers.
