How to use a drain bladder to clear a clogged drain - 2022

This KZread video demonstrates how to use a drain bladder to clear a clogged sink, shower, or bathtub drain. Drain bladders expand inside of the drain pipe and shoot a jet of water at the clog to break it up. This drain bladder has 3/4” FGHT, so you may need to buy an adapter if your thread situation is different.

Bought Drain King off Amazon. Received it in 2 days. Disconnected the P-Trap, attached the bladder unit to the hose running from the Garden. Put the unit w/hose into the pipe. Clog was about 3 yards from the sink. Couldn't get it with Liquid Plumr, Pequa or a plunger w/hot water. Turned on the Garden hose and 3 minutes later the clog was gone. If this didn't work I would have had to call a plumber and paid at least $250. AMAZING PRODUCT. Every house should have one.

I bought a drain bladder a year ago, and was too chicken to use it, undo the pipes under the kitchen sink, well I asked God for help and I took pictures of everything under there so I could put it back, I did use a garden hose, but anyway, I stuck it in there and turned the water on and I was by myself so I didnt have anyone watching to make sure there wasnt water leaking anywhere, so it was on for a minute or so, and it seems to have worked, now using the sink again. I have had ongoing issues with the sink clogging, so instead of paying $300 a snake I will be using this and doing it myself!

Do you think the drain King with its pulsating action would work better than the HF version?

its not clear enough, nor a demonstration. how can that bladder have enough pressure to push or dissolve the clog? I will have to try it.
