Hey man loved the video. I'm no professional with chainsaws, in fact I just got one, and I filed it till sharp and I did pretty good but when I when to buy a raker gauge from Husqvarna I didn't know which to buy. Should I buy the 3/8 raker gauge or the .325 gauge. I don't know anything about the chain on my saw apart from it being a Stihl.325( I use a 3/16 file to sharpen the teeth if that helps) thank you for the help

Then more than likely you are running a .325 chain. The info will be stamped on the bar. Hope this helps.

Only a machinist could probably eye ball .025" thou.

You’re so on the money brother. So many of us focus on fast engines and sharp chain yet depth gauges get overlooked How is that Stihl gauge running a flat file over it and not cutting into the gauge like the older style gauges

My cheap tuned saw with my hand filed chain will out run most of these jokers running their BRAND saw with safety chain cause they buy chain from the box store and are too blind to see any brand but their BRAND !
