Genius!! Ipad Pro 2nd Gen & Pro 4th Gen! THANKS A MILLION!! This video was THE ONLY THING THAT WORKED! My 2nd Gen Ipad Pro stalled on the 15.0 update, 4th Gen stalled on 15.2. Super frustrating because the auto update has never failed since I bought these from the Apple Store. They're both on 15.2 now! THANKS AGAIN!!

Been trying for months to fix this 4000 error code..was on the phone with Apple for 2 hours and could not fix it...they got me an appointment at my local Apple store for next week...guess what , your video fixed it...so well explained, easy to follow.....I should share your video with the Apple guys, they will learn something...Thanks a lot...
Thanks a lot! Happened to me too and the solution works like wonder!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. I have been fighting this exact issue since 14.6. One Tech actually told me to do a full reset to my iPad as I may have something corrupted. I followed these steps from other youtubers to no avail. I think the key here was unplugging and replugging in the iPad so iTunes would rerecognize the changes you described. Finally I can check this task off and avoid the arduous task of reimaging my iPad. Subscribed :)

You're welcome. Glad it was helpful!
Excelente, altamente recomendado.
After disabling the auto-lock and passcode features, would the wireless update option work as well or should it still be connected to a pc?

This depends on your iPad.. if your iPad isn't updating via air. You have to use the macOS to do this or your iTunes software on Windows.
Juhu, that was it!
