Maby the soil was a little dry around the figpop roots and that's why it fell away. Good tutorial! I usually mix my mix and water a day ahead to give the mix time to hydrate.

Hey great a day ahead of time is great, although sometimes I make and use pretty much right away

Man that pro mix is so expensive, is it that much better? It's almost 3 times the cost of Kellogg's.

Probably not. I have not heard of kellogs but promix is basically peat moss and perlite. It's all a rip off

Is it ok to mix the water with some little peroxide to kill any gnats? Do you water your pots after up potting? What about air pockets if you didn’t water? Also can we have a link to the products you’re using

I do not use peroxide I would do more research I don't know. Also I wait awhile before watering like over a week before I water and I only use a half a cup per plant so I haven't had a problem with gnats. Also which product do you want a link for?

May I know what is the white ink pen you used to label the pot and where can I get that? Thank you!

It's a Sharpie brand, chalk marker. Medium. Wet erase. I think I bought it on Amazon. I bought three different kinds and this is the best
